Unfortunately as a local resident cruise credit does not permit me to give you any specific suggestions for restaurants. You will find more than a few choices and I can tell you to stay off the main promenade and hit the side streets for a better choice and prices.
Many historical sites inside the city wall, ride the cable car up to the top of Mt Srd for the best view, nice stop to rest and enjoy a drink. Please try to find our Rupe Museum, it is filled with our cultural history and a nice cool building to visit during high heat of the day. A short boat trip, 15 minutes, to the island of Lokrum for a swim or just a walk around the island is always a treat. You also have time to take the 45 minute boat trip to Cavtat, a very special town. Consider using the boat down and return by bus, Libertas #10 ends the trip at the Gruz harbor where I assume your ship is docked. You can research your interests by visiting our tourist bureau website, filled with good data. Enjoy your time here, I certainly do every day.
Will I need Kuna for the cable car or will credit cards be accepted? Thank You

I am trying to figure out what I can select (beer and wine) when using my Explore 4 beverage Card and if it is worth it to upgrade. How much is the difference to upgrade the beverage package? Thanks

We are interested in going to Trogir from Split for 1/2 day, then returning mid day. Anyone know the cost of a taxi vs. Uber. Are they readily available in Trogir?

Just an fyi. We are on the Koningsdam next July and HAL just changed itinerary eliminating Sarande and adding Kusadasi ,Turkey. No idea if it will stay that way but we will see.

Perfect, mostly shorts/tshirts or capri pants. We took some warmer clothes but even when we were up on Mount Pilatus, it was sunny and beautiful. We lucked in as last year we went in April and had sunshine but then it turned rainy with a bit of snow. Thanks for layers.

A little clarification: my plan is to spend the day on Delos. My assumption was that restaurant options are limited or non existent. So, a picnic lunch sounded like a good idea. No, I am not desperate (reference to the soggy sandwich) nor am I desperate to present my opinions.

Yes, ceiling type window that can not be opened. I’m not sure about the square footage I’ll have to check - I think it’s close but it seems like most of the time on this itinerary is either on the shore excursions orif certainly I could go on deck in May, right!

Tomorrow I am going to book a May, 2109 Bordeaux cruise on AMA Waterways. The Difference between a French balcony and a fixed window cabin is $1800.
Seems like there’s not much cruising compared to other river cruises and I’m wondering if this might be one to save the $1800 and use it on in the Loire Valley post river adventure.
Your thoughts?
