Yes, the fine print says to bring them to the front desk to be applied for payments listed on the onboard account; also good for booked cruises with a balance due or to make a future cruise reservation.

I was waiting for the return of this great offer myself, but the two times the gift card bonus was temporarily re-opened, it was for 10 per cent;  still not bad.

Hi Jacqui,

I was just reading the terms and conditions for the gift cards and bonus cards and it said that they can be purchased by US and CA residents.

The bonus card promo ends tonight, 12/6 at midnight Pacific time.

I have wonderful memories of sharing some excursions you had arranged a few years ago to coastal towns in southern England and also to Siena and Tuscany.

I also heard a HAL Captain say that a ship larger than a Pinnacle class one had been approved. He said it marked a real confidence in HAL’s future by the company. I asked if he could say anything else about it and he said that’s all he knew.

The Eurodam just received its 11th consecutive perfect rating from the USPH at the unannounced inspection at Port Everglades. This is a record breaking accomplishment in the industry! Great job by the crew and officers, as usual.

I recently received a personal email from a HAL rep in response to my cruise evaluation within a day of sending it.

Coconut Creek here....just south of Boca in Northern Broward County...we love Holland America line.

I am booked on the 30 day HAL cruise r/t San Diego to Hawaii and French Polynesia from 12/15/14 to 1/14/15

Can anyone tell me how many formal nights to expect? That Christmas and New Years is included might make a difference.

I read elsewhere on CC that typically most lines reduce the usual expectations on this or similar cruises.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful cruise and enjoy all the beauty Alaska has to offer. I am confident that you will also find friendly, polite and nice passengers on board.

 

I doubt that your son will get carded if he is with your family. Unlike some cruise lines HAL does not have a 21+ disco on board and the night life will be limited.

 

The sun does not set till well after 10:00pm....
