What ship are you on? I ask because every ship deals with latitudes tendering differently. We were just in GSC a couple

of weeks ago on the prima and they had us meet by the theater 15 mins prior to reaching gsc and then we get on then1st tender. On the Star in Feb in south america, we just showed out key card by tendering floor and got on the 1st tender off.. so each ship does tendering differently.

  2. If possible, I would like to ask another additional Latitudes question, since I have not sailed on NCL for a number of years but am returning to give NCL another try.

We were previously Platinum Plus members, which I now see on my account as Saphire.  We are visiting Great Stirrup Cay on our cruise and was wondering, as Saphire members, do we need to get a tender pass for Cay or just proceed to ender?

    Thank you in advance

  3. We are on the Ascent in September 24, and our TA already assigned us early dining.  However, it is unclear whether we have been assigned to a specific dining room.  Will we be assigned a specific dining room prior to cruise or upon boarding, or can we choose which restaurant we want to go to within late dining time frame?

The Coral will use the old locks.  The old locks are more interesting than the new locks.  Not sure which locks the Jade will use.  Also, Panama City is more interesting than Colon, which is a free trade zone with nothing to really to do but shop duty free.  Princess has cancelled Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador due to government unrest for the past few years.  Don't be surprised if Princess, down the road, nixes Puerto Quetzal from the itinerary.  April and Alaska don't mix.  It's still too cold because the ice has only begun to melt and most of the seasonal workers haven't arrived yet so many of the touristy things are still closed.

NCL Jade will also use older Panama locks.

  5. I have a guaranteed mini-suite on an upcoming cruise.  I received an email from Princess 60 days prior to cruise embarkation that I could bid for an upgrade.  Prior to this (at 80, 75 and 70 day marks), I just received a response to check pack closer to cruise.

  6. I'm sure that this question is answered somewhere in past posts, so if you can point me to the appropriate post(s) that would be appreciated.  If not, and clarification would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Q: We book a cruise under the former Plus Package almost 2 years ago when it was first offered.  Can someone please clarify the differences between the old and new Plus Packages and what we are still entitled to under the old Plus Package.

  7. We will be sailing on the Coral Princess out of Brisbane in early march and would be interested in any recent reviews from Coral Princess passengers.  We've only sailed 2 times previously on Princess, with the Ruby Princess (pre-COVID) and Majestic Princess (post-COVID), both out of Sydney.  The cruise on the Ruby Princess was fantastic, but the cruise on the Majestic Princess (early 2023) was very disappointing.  We has gravitated since towards larger HAL ships, but we decided to give Princess another try.  We always look positively going on a cruise, since all cruise lines have their positives and negatives, so are fingers are crossed.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

  8. We are book on the Accent in September 2024, and I was looking for first impressions of people who have sailed on vessel.  We have only sailed on Celebrity once back in 2002 on the Infinity.  We truly enjoyed the Infinity, but I'm sure Accent is a much larger vessel and Celebrity cruises have evolved significantly since 2002.

Hi, it costs an arm and a leg, but Coral will offer a debark tour that will take you sightseeing around Brisbane, drop you at the South Bank for time on your own, then take you to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where you'll see lots of Aussie wildlife and birds, including hand feeding Roos, then take you to the airport.

We did this last year and thoroughly enjoyed it - our guide also took us to Mt Cootha (sp?), a scenic high spot, which wasn't on the itinerary. It was so good and so convenient that I've booked it again this year for family - even though it cost an arm and a leg 💰 Our guide/driver was a Frenchman who'd been in Aussie for 40-odd years but still had an accent any female would fall in love with [swoon]. I hope we get him again 🥰

I don't see this post-cruise excursion on-line for our cruise.  Did you book your excursion prior to cruise or while on cruise?

  10. Our cruise on the Coral Princess disembarks in Brisbane on March 29, 2024.  However, our flight back to the United States does not depart until 10 pm that evening.  As such, we are looking for any suggestions on what to do during the day until our flight departs.  Any ideas on any day group or private excursion companies from cruise terminal and returning to Brisbane Airport, or other options?  Thank you in advance for your insights.

  11. We are booked in March 2024 on the Coral Princess for a 27-day cruise circling Australia out of Brisbane.  We have several winery excursions booked, and we are looking to purchase several bottles of wine - not to drink on board but to bring home.  Can we simply turn them in upon reboarding ship after excursion (booked through Princess) and claim them after cruise or do we need to pay a corkage fee even though we do not plan to consume them on board?  Of course, if we find an outstanding winery, we will likely have some shipped home directly.

  12. Had a very disappointing Princess cruise out of Sydney Australia this past February, but we are giving Princess one more change with a cruise around Australia this coming March.  However, with the recent changes to Plus package, we are thinking of just cancelling outright before final payment is due.  Too many other cruise line options.

  13. I apologize, since I'm sure that this question has been asked previously.  However, I have terrible search skills, and we are on a 27-day cruise around Australia on the Coral Princess in March 2024.

What is Princess' current price for a bag of laundry?  Does Princess normally run specials for a bag of laundry?
