It was definitely rocking and rolling that night

Sounds like Taberna Lupulo is the place to stop by in OSJ.
One of the nice things about having local brews in foreign ports is that they are a bit fresher and many aren't easily available stateside. So you do get a sense of local tastes. May not be the best you've ever had or something you'd want to drink regularly, but many certainly beat out the mass produced beers being heavily marketed in this country.
I love craft beers for their uniqueness. But do find the West Coast Style IPAs a bit too hoppy at times, and am not a fan of the latest fruit/veggie infusions stuff. Nor all the sweet junk being dumped into porters and stouts. Some are okay and some aren't worth it. As the head brewmaster at Founders remarked to me at a tasting last year when I gave him a sample of a popular Florida craft beer company's latest new production, "What the f is this?"
I love Founders, but isn't part of the fun of all these local craft breweries opening up is that they can brew many, many different styles and types?

Only been to the Tropicante.
I can't say enough how awesome the place was.
It reminded me 100% of our experience at the Cats Meow in 2005

Got a hold of them. They are sold out for our November 17th visit

Sounds like a fun place.
Back in 2006 we did the Cats Meow, on our honeymoon, and had a blast.
I tried to make reservations, but it keeps re-loading the same page, anybody else have that problem?

Ya I had a little confusion at first.
When you get to the pier just follow it all the way to the swim up bar pool and take a right then take another right. It looks like a tour desk but really it's taxis.
Its a van you pay 3$ I think and get a ticket and the van driver takes you to the end of the road in Mahuahual.
We went to the Cats Meow; we had a group of 12 or 13 and rented all the chairs so we had the Cats Meows beach to ourselves the entire day. It was by far the funnest port day weve ever had on a cruise. We drank a bunch, got massages, ate a bunch, went jet skiing; a total blast.
When you want to leave gran a yellow taxi back.

The best thing that I ever saw that someone brought (and I have to admit that I peeked down onto their balcony to see it) was that they had brought with them (obviously they had cruised many times before) a small line and clothespins. How sloppy and unorganized does the stateroom/suite get when there are wet clothes draped over the tub and shower? Definately something that I'll bring next cruise..They hung it very low on the balcony so it didn't obstruct the view or look sloppy!
We brought clothespins on our last cruise; pretty helpful.

Bungee cord for that pesky balcony door

Everyone says duct tape.
Use for tapoing things, marking luggage, repairing anything, and as a lint roller.

We leave Saturday, and was really hoping they still did it.
Last Princess cruise my son was 8 and did it and it was the highlight of his cruise.
They brought the cake he made to our dinner on the last night in crown grill
