The 10 night on Jan 16 was supposed to go to Aruba*, Jamaica*, Cartagena, Panama*, Costa Rica*, Nassau, and Ocean Cay two separate times. The one that are * will likely be canceled. The second Ocean Cay will likely be canceled also.

So, if you are going on the 4 day, keep in mind that many passengers were to go on the longer cruise that also included the 4 day itinerary.

Youre simply referring to two separate cruises. While some people do B2B, its not very common

Looks like Jan 16th sailing will only have around 300 guests.  I am a bit excited to have the ship almost all to ourselves but also a bit sad as well.  I hope some last minute bookings come in so the ship has at least some kind of atmosphere!

Where did you get that info? In the roll call, someone said 1,000

I’m on Meraviglia right now. So far, there have been no issues with docking in Ocean Cay and the production shows.

A madatory COVID test for the entire ship is currently in progress.  I was in the first group of about 15 people and there was already a positive case detected. I would assume there will be a decent amount of other cases identified by the time everyone gets tested today.

It has been great on board so far. There are about 1000 passengers so it is very quiet.

Please keep us updated, I am sailing Jan 16 and worried about the silence.

Hi,  I'm bringing this thread back up to ask if anyone here has sailed recently with having only received the Johnson & Johnson 1-shot vaccination.  It seems to me my daughter -who is going for her J&J shot on Monday- is worrying unnecessarily.  If she hears that others have not had any problems with Carnival allowing them to sail, she will stop worrying about it.

I would highly recommend another vaccine. The omicron data is showing 0% (zero) for J&J.

I say this as someone with J&J - just got a Moderna booster

  5. I am willing to go but I think theres a 40% chance it wont happen.

With omicron overwhelming NYC/NJ I expect we will hear about a "covid cruise" (likely the 12 day cruises which will allow spread+symptoms) which in turn will mean islands will start closing the doors.

Cabo turned a ship away today and many of the small islands will not tolerate the risk.

Yes, very unfortunate that the NCL thread(s) are out of control.

Anyway, last heard, Breakaway has 17 infected with one suspected omicron case. Apparently, NCL requires 100% vax and does not require masks onboard.

    Gonna change.

Correct, the ship finally departed close to midnight with a new mask mandate.

NCL execs are probably praying to every god they can find that additional crew won't start testing positive over the course of the next voyage.

  7. I booked MSC specifically because they have the strictest mas mandate

Meanwhile, Norwegian has zero mask requirements and today they are trying to manage an outbreak on one of their ships.

I also visited Mexico last Spring which had a strict outdoor mask mandate. Its not a big deal. Managed to climb the pyramids just fine with a mask on.

Now when Seashore came to Miami last week, where were they all? None of them lined the banks of South Pointe Park with live coverage. Nobody has been on the first Seashore Sailings all of a sudden these past couple of weeks. They weren’t at the naming ceremony on OC. MSC doesn’t cater to influencers like CCorp does.

I noticed this too. I was expecting a flood of Seashore videos but the only ones Im finding on Youtube and randoms with 400 followers. Not a single big account appears to have gone on the new ship in the US.

Mind you, with all the IT problems theyve been having (2 hour lines to fix the missing drink/web packages) this was probably smart on MSCs part lol

    Hi All,

My family is headed to CocoCay in the beginning of July and we are trying to get all of our excursions booked. When I look at the waterpark, it says there is a 300lb weight limit for all of the slides. My husband is right near that and I'm wondering how it works. Do they weigh you when you go in, or if they suspect you're too heavy would they weigh you at the top of a slide? Or do they just trust you that you're under the weight limit? Any help would be much appreciated, as he really wants to do it with us, but I'm worried he will get turned away if they weigh him and he's a few pounds over. (Cruise weight is real.)

    Thanks!

    What ended up happening?

A member of my party is at 290lbs and we are looking at a ship that stops in Coco
