  1. Hello,

We've booked a cruise with Cunard for July next year. Only the deposit's been paid. Out of interest, if we wanted to change our booking to another cruise can we do this without losing our deposit?

    Thanks

  2. So I contacted my travel agent. He advised that after we left he linked all our bookings therefore we should then be allocated seating together however he couldn't tell me what table or table size we had been allocated but we are definitely all linked together but to be on the safe side go to the restaurant when we bored to check our allocation. Should I trust that this will work?

  3. Hello.

My sister and her family, my parents, me and my family (10 in total) have all booked on the QM2 next year. We all booked at different times and I was the last to book. I asked the agent at the time if he could link our bookings and request at table of 10 for the early seating and he advised that the system would not allow to book a table of 10.

It's been many years since traveling on the QM2 however I'm sure I remember seeing tables of 10, is that correct?

What do you think my chances of going straight to the Britannia when we embark and request a table of 10?

Any other tips on how to go about this? i.e is there a tables of 6 and 4 next to each other?

    Thanks in advance

  4. Hi there.

We are considering booking our first p&o cruise. We have two small children and ice cream is a favourite of thiers. On other ships they have self serve complimentary ice cream but I notice that p&o offer, at a cost, an ice cream pass. Is there still your basic self serve ice cream available?

Kids club - if you wish can you accompany your children to the kids clubs or do you have to drop them off and leave?

    Thank you

  5. Sorry I should expand more re-safety whilst playing question. The cruise lines that cater more for families i.e RC and Disney do they have any additional kind of baby/toddler proofing for example balcony doors in family state rooms have additional child friendly locks or designated children play areas are secure and have an area at the side for adults to sit and watch with a coffee while they play etc?

  6. Hi There.

First time I've posted a thread in around 4 years so please bare with me. Me and my husband having cruised previously but with Cunard, after adding to our family we are thinking of booking a cruise but with a more family oriented line.

We have whittled it down to:

7 nts France and Spain, may next year on Independence of the seas, or

Canaries and morocco, Oct next year on Navigator of the seas.

I was looking for advice on what others think the best ship would be for us and our, will be 3 1/2 and 1 1/12 year olds.

Also safety wise how relaxed do you feel with toddlers on a ship. Me and my hubby are very hands on and most likely wouldn't feel comfortable dropping the kids off at clubs, activities etc but we would like to be able to say sit and have a coffee while having an eye on the kids while they play without the panic of them potentially running off into trouble. Can anyone offer any personal experience with this?

    Thanks in advance
