I cancelled two cruises before final payment date - one for August and one for September (both had NRD and both I had paid extra on)   Lift and Shift wasn't offered when I cancelled our August trip and it just didn't work for the September one.  I didn't want to tie up anymore money with them - plus money tied up in credits for airfare for a few other trips that we cancelled too.  Got the first refund about 3 weeks after I cancelled and the second trip about a week after I cancelled.

    we did not. But I would suggest arriving early, particularly if there are  few ships in port. I can’t recall exactly what time we arrived, but I know it was fairly early and they only had about 8 loungers left.

     

     There are tons of other vendors along the beach aggressively hawking chairs in their own span of sand, but you won’t have use of the nicer bathroom facilities and really nice loungers like Holland House. 
     

    I did try to make a reservation by emailing them the day before we left, but had not gotten a reply so we just decided to try and reserve onsite

  3.  We have not stayed in an owners suite, but have stayed in grand suite on Harmony.  Great room.  Wall divider is great and there are two TVs - on the wall that divides the room (one facing the bed and the other facing the sofa).   I wouldn't spend any extra money.  We also stayed in GS on Harmony on deck 12 and it was great.

We were faced with same options.  This is a very expensive week.  We chose harmony because of the price difference.  Our children are older - Feb 2020  will be our last Feb vacation with our children - our youngest will be a senior in high school (although our oldest is a teacher in MA so we may end up vacationing that week with her).  I have been on Symphony and will be on Harmony this February too - I am expecting the ships to be very similar.  So same itinerary and class of ship I would choose the lease expensive option.

    When we left the terminal we went to the right.  I think the signs said something like private drivers or something like that.  We had the Uber pick us up at Zone 8.  It wasn't a far walk and was just to the right of the exit.

We had a very easy time getting off Symphony on Tuesday.  Our flight was 1 pm from FLL.  We chose a later departure - 8:30 because we knew we had plenty of time.  We scanned our seapass cards a little before 8:30.  Found our luggage, went through customs and got Uber when we exited the terminal.  We were in the car at 8:45.  We did hit a bit of traffic, but we were at the airport at 9:30.
