  1. Well the packing list is done. Just a few more things to get together and I will be ready to pack. Luckily, because I fly too much, I have space for three 70# bags......but won't take all that space. Last year on Indy I packed way too much and I promised then that I would do better this time.

Is anyone here going on the TA in April on the Liberty?

Also what does one have to do to get in the NC, seems as if all the fun folks are there and I am not. *****!

  2. Wow I missed quite a bit the past couple of days.

    Good Morning

First of all Thank You for your Support on here and your many emails.

I am not going to sit back and let IGNORANT PEOPLE annoy me and keep me off the boards :p

I will as stated be at the D event every evening but will not roll out drunk (never have done)

George, glad you are back. Perhaps one night before dinner we can roll out drunk together? It can be a first for both of us!!! :D:p:p:p:D See you soon.

  3. I'm Craig from Atlanta and my last TA crossing was on a Russian ship quite some time ago. Have done several Atlantis cruises more recently and am looking forward to seeing all of you on board.

Craig, welcome aboard.:D There are 4 of us from Atlanta as well going on this cruise. Drop me aline if you might want to meet for a drink or just to say hello before the cruise.

  4. The prices for the wine package, if paying in USD, is the same in advance as it is onboard. The only benefit to ordering in advance online is that we are paying for it now versus being charged to our sea pass account. PLUS, it frees up my OBC monies to be used for other things...:)

They will still charge the service charge irrespective of when I purchase it correct?

  5. I'm sorry but I don't understand your comment about getting into the 'true' spirit of the 'holiday' and why is it a shame? Halloween isn't a holiday in the UK and it would appear my comments have caused offence just because I don't intend to provide candy on the day. Where is the shame in that?

I was not trying to be offensive, nor did anything you say come across as offensive. I was just making a silly comment.:D Growing up in the US, Halloween meant loads and loads of candy (and the sugar coma that follows)...oh and we got to dress up as well. It is interesting to see how different countries celebrate differently. One thing is for sure lots of the gays in the USA see Halloween as a very very special day.

  6. Then again putting candy out for Halloween isn't something done in a big way here in the UK.

That is just a shame and not really getting into the "true" spirit of the holiday, shame!

I don't think I would put it on my door, But I'm thinking I'll bring a box of Sees Pumpkin Spice Lolly Pops to hand out... :D

Where should I meet you to get my box of those they look delish!

  7. I don't know how they work the tables with moving everyone around but this group will be everywhere. The 6 of us have linked rese's so maybe that's how they do it. Anybody have suggestions?

This whole group should do the Quest together...I will start a list......

Paul drop me an email we can work something out. Last cruise we linked reservations with some of the others and got a big table that way. Could be fun. Besides that would love to share the table with the women from Pan Am!

As to Quest on last years TA on the Independence Kitten2729 and I led a CC group to victory! It was a blast. She and I spoke about it last year on the other thread and I think she is still game for it. I think the correct amount of alcohol was involved before the quest but when done we both shared our winnings with everyone! :D

  8. HI all, Jim and Peter from Chicago....will be on the TA with you all...Peter is taking me on this for my 63rd bday....He is 43 and we've been together for 18yrs....Will be coming to BCN on the 26th....Since we are both flt crew for a major Airline....We're now off for 6weeks and leaving on the Serenade on Sunday Oct 2nd and then on the Millenium Oct 17, before our Ta....These are all Bday month cruises Peter is giving me...Bday will be on the 30th while we are on the TA....Good friends Calvin and Jeff from Milwaukee will be with us on the TA...Looking forward to meeting all.....JIM

Welcome Jim & Peter (and Calvin and Jeff from Milwaukee).

So I posted the other day to see about other FOD who might want to get a big table at the late seating dinner. Paul you guys up for that? Any others? There are 4 in our group. I am just not sure how to arrange it so I will put my email here and if you are interested drop me a line.

Mahari let's win The Quest again this year!!!:D:D:D

  9. Welcome from Paul and Mark in southern California. First TA. We west coasters, including Gay, Mike and Mike keep this thing going around the clock :D.

About halloween and costumes, I just had it confirmed that a little group of 3 couples have picked some costumes that will ensure us membership in the NC, so yes, many of us boys will be dressing up even if it means getting some more luggage :(.

Sorry what is NC? We have costumes as well, hope they let us into dinner with our costumes on...

  10. Welcome back. I think it was Howard and Vic, right? Anyway, we have late seating with a party of 3 couples (us and 4 friends from DC who haven't posted except on FB). If you have been following the group here, I don't know how civilized we are going to be but you are welcome to join us.

Well we are not so civilized but do like to get dress up for dinner. I really like sitting down to a table full of folks dressed up. Had a cruise a few years ago that when formal nights came up 4 others from our table did not dine in the restaurant. On the other nights they were dressing up if they put on a golf shirt. We are traveling with 2 others, would they have a table big enough for all of us?
