Hi All,
I need some information about cruise insurance and the possibility of canceling :(. My fiancé is facing possible surgery today and we are set to sail on 7/15/17. I bought travel insurance through Norwegian. My questions are:
Can one person in the cabin cancel, while the other one goes? If that's possible do they reimburse for half?
If we both cancel do they reimburse how we paid our through cruise credit.
I appreciate any answers anyone may have, thanks in advance.

As far as the cell phone charging goes I have been using one of these Belkin USB /three way outlet adapters. Works great. If you want to charge an iPad with it make sure to get the 10 watt version
I agree with the belkin from Amazon, great product.

Not sure I see what port you are driving to! Hunt around here there are usually references to hotels that will do this... but feel free to call a hotel and ask to speak with the manager to ask if they'd allow it. Question is do they have a shuttle that will drop off and pick up... pick ups are such a hassle...s tie up the shuttle a long time so many won't and you'll have to get a taxi.
Others are just too far away and you have to get a car service any way - that often negates the parking savings.
Sorry forgot to say it was Port of Baltimore.

We are driving from WNY for a cruise in July. We have stayed at the best western plus on O'Donnel street before using there park n cruise package with no problems. There seems to be a 2 night requirement now. Looking for a place that offers park n cruise that is on our way there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Love these boards! Just bought enought to pay off my July cruise! Saved $360, had money left over to buy 4 snorkeling excursions! They were delivered immediately and I applied them as payment with no issues!

Thank you for posting! I have been waiting to pay off my upcoming cruise with these. I just bought $3,600 in cards!! That's $360 I saved!! That will help with spending cash for this next cruise!!!!

Very interested to know comparisons as well. I love sailing out of Baltimore, and have sailed the pride twice already. I have a 3rd cruise booked on the pride coming up in July. The pride is by far my favorite carnival ship, very excited to see the changes after 2.0 upgrades. Looking to try the Grandeur.

Every year I take my DD's now 17 and 14 on a surprise vacation, destination unknown. I used to have them packed and did not tell them until the morning of departure. Now I tell them a few weeks out when we will be leaving. I enjoy the excitement they have trying to figure out where we are going. This will be there first cruise for my daughters graduation present. I am really having a hard time keeping this secret. Mostly because I know how badly they have wanted to try a cruise. It's a tradition now for us, but this cruise countdown has been long! Still 187 days away!

We will be debarking as you are getting on the ship! 2 more days for us! Have a great cruise.

My vote is for earlier as well. I like to arrive early, I have never had a problem with either getting the room earlier or the hotel holding my bags. This usually makes for an early day the day before and we relax, do a little last minute shopping, and usually have an early evening. Then the first day and night of the cruise I am not exhausted from travel.

Pride will have a dry dock towards the end of this year so features are the same. I have been on both the Freedom and the Legend and for me, nothing beats the layout of Spirit class ships. We're going on the Pride this New Years because we love the layout so much. Easy to get around, no stadium seating on Lido and NEVER felt crowded!!
I have been on the pride twice and totally agree, the layout is awesome. Plus the ship will be updated after dry dock. Love the serenity area.

We have sailed on the pride twice and would advise you to not get to the port before 1. We sat until after 2 to board this last time. We had faster to the fun so our room was ready right away. It seemed that most rooms were ready by 2:30-3:00pm.

:'):') It was an option he asked that I explore. Luckily they were able to do the surgery laparoscopically and he will be recovered enough to attend. So thankful I won't have to cancel, this is a much needed vacation for both of us.
