From Klaipeda you can go to Palanga which has a Botanical park and a 19th century Neo-Renaissance style mansion that houses the largest Amber Museum in the Baltics.

Hi please share how you traveled from the cruise ship terminal to Palanga.  Thanks

Thanks that helps a lot. Which pier will you be docking at? Do you require within walking in distance or are you willing to take a taxi?

Willing to taxi.  In celebrity equinoxes so unsure where that docks.

  3. I am in the over 70 crowd, so I am just looking for a relaxing massage in the open air by the beach.  Not looking for a pool, water slides, food or drink have plenty of that back on the ship,  Since I have had skin cancer, I don't do sunbathing either and shopping doesn't interest me either, so one of those $55 all inclusive day passes is just a waste of money to me.  I can get an ordinary massage back home, or on the ship,  I crave just a massage in the shade, relaxing and hearing the waves crashing on the beach, that is what I want for my day.

  4. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem with HAL booking your air transportation. Booked and paid back in 2016, now as cruise approaches, have found out that flight time was changed, without any notification from HAL, and also that we were not being seated together, which I specifically requested at the time of booking. This is my first 9 hour flight to Europe, and being a senior citizen with medical issues, need to have my travel companion very close by. HAL said they could do nothing for us as the "seats were complimentary" Complimentary??? I paid for two seats! After much frustration with both HAL and American Airlines, we had to pay $300 extra for seats together directly to American Airlines. I don't recommend using HAL at all.
