Is there a hop on hop off bus tour in Brisbane, and is it far from cruise port?

In Cuban ports, when you go ashore, are there the taxis, vans, etc, offering tours and sightseeing as there are in many ports? Also, is US cash wanted by them? What about credit cards? Any help appreciated.

Like many, I brought a bottle of booze onboard the Noordam for consumption in our cabin. Found out they go so far as xraying baggage to find it. Never dreamed they’d be so petty. Wrote a letter to them about it, bet never got the courtesy of a reply. No longer keen on Holland America.

Hate to book shore excursions at cruise ship prices. In many ports there are local tours available in the port. Does anyone know if this is common in Australian ports?
