  1. Does anyone know if you can use a free United Club one time pass in the Smiles Lounge in the Rio airport? This lounge is not specific to United but accomodates business and first class travelers which we are not and does anyone know their hours of operation?

We were there in Jan. Tried to get in to the Club, being Silver Elite & having Presidential Plus Card. They wouldn't let us in, as you needed to be Gold Elite. Very disappointing.

  2. Per Liza shareholder OBC will not show up on princess.com

Thanks Liza does it show up on the website ?

No, please note we have a new process with benefits you will not longer see OBC on line. Please obtain booking confirmation from your travel agent which identifies benefit as a onboard credit or this email will serve as confirmation. Bon voyage.

This may be old hat but I wasn't able to find our Shareholders' Benefit for an upcoming cruise as an OBC in "My Princess" as was shown in the past. So I sent an email off to Yield Management over the weekend and this afternoon got the following response:

Our system reflects shareholder benefit issued to your booking 28SEP10. Please note we have a new process with benefits you will not longer see OBC on line. Please obtain booking confirmation from your travel agent which identifies benefit as a onboard credit or this email will serve as confirmation that your booking noted below has been issued a $100.00 Carnival shareholder benefit shipboard credit.

    Bon voyage.

Thanks so much to the two of you, for these new answers, as a friend was just asking why his credits weren't showing up on My Princess.

  3. Shareholder benefit is wonderful, from January '09 to January '10 I received $600. in credits for two 14 day and one 7 day cruise. Tomorrow, I will be sending Lisa request for $100. credit for upcoming cruise to Mexico.

Not bad for the $16.80 average price paid for the stock!!!

Carnival also announced today that they will be again paying dividends. I

think it is going to be around $0.10 per share.

    Great thread, thank you all-------------------------

    Here's a question for you.....

What if the passengers in the cabin aren't married, have 2 different last names, & are both shareholders. Do they only get one OBC for the cabin, or do they both get an OBC? Say it's a 14 day cruise, would it just be $250 or could they possibly get $500, because they're both shareholders with different last names.

    Hoping you understand my question.

  4. Even will all the lists I make of things to pack for a cruise, I have forgotten a sweater, that I use when it's cold at nite in the theatre. My DH forgot a casual pair of shoes this past time in Dec. We were spending time beforehand in the LA area, so we went over to a Macy's, & he bought another pair.
