  1. I recently found out there was a problem. Yahoo moved my pics there and then since I don't pay for hosting, they dumped 2 of my albums - 2 cruise albums I wanted to keep. I have since deleted the 2 sets I didn't want and have contacted them to put the other 2 sets of pictures back. I think the links are basically dead links that I can't make public. I hope to get that issue resolved soon.

In the meantime, here are the most recent Enchantment pictures I have from just a few weeks ago. I don't have many photos from around the ship since I had already taken so many on my previous Enchantment trips. But this should help a little bit - at least you will see how much fun we had cruising on Enchantment. But beware - there are over 400 pictures. :D

There are loads of pictures of us and our friends who we met through cruise critic. This cruise was our first face to face meeting. :) And we had a blast.

Oh my!! Did I look that bad. ;) It was great meeting and saying hi to you guys and maybe next time we can spend a bit of time together. I always seem to get myself tied up into something or other.

Hey folks, you really do meet cc folks on your cruise. Got to meet Gina and the DH and Bill W. I recognized Gina from her picture here but she and her DH look much better in person.

  2. If this is true. And, we will find out from others who sailed that week when they see this thread, I agree with you 100%. I am far from a prude also, but my Quest days would be over.

Not my kind of entertainment on my cruises. :(

Actually Alexis, I have to believe if this happened it must be a unique situation and is not pervasive across all ships. My comment is only directed at this cruise based on the OP's comments and I wouldn't want to think that this happens all the time. You know fun is fun and if it's your flavor fine, but I think, regardless of adult theme or not, there are boundaries that RCI need be careful not to cross. I think we all agree that PG-13 is not R and by no means X.

  3. Well I've gone on the record as saying I've always thought Quest to be a little below sophmoric and once was good enough for me. But that's only my flavor. However I would chirp in here that if even part of what the OP has said is true, I would agree this is beyond what at least I thought the scope of this "entertainment" was. And if you think I'm a prude, you really don't know me at all.

  4. NO nerves struck I just really dislike people being put down cause thier actions or believes dont agree with others. We all do things that other may not agree with but what place do we have to call them out?? His has not spoke up for himself so i figured I'd play devils advocate :p

Well, you're gonna get the devil if any of those women you referred to get hold of you. :D

  5. .......I also cant see why some woman have to put make up on just to sit in the sun and lets not even discuss those that wear 2 piece bathing suits know dog gone well they should be wearing a 1 piece!!.............

hmmm, someone struck a nerve, where did this come from......;)

  6. To be honest with you, I really don't find the lobster that tasty!! We've been on 2 cruises and both times I was disappointed in what they called lobster tails!

Homerun with that comment. This is not cold water lobster and at best is second rate. I suppose you can mash hamburger, call it a chop steak, and people will want more of it because it has steak in the name. ;)

  7. Wow - we posted almost the same question w/in a couple of minutes of each other. :p Great minds. I hope it's okay if I jump in on your thread; you chose a much catchier title! ;)

No plane questions as we're driving; however --- we're just wondering if we could get maybe two bottles and a 12-pack of soda on board the SOS leaving Post Canaveral? We wanted to carry on our bags but we could check one if the odds of success are better.

    Any thoughts kind people??? :)

I just did the Mariner in October and there was no problem carrying water and soda on board (yes I carried it in a grocery sack and it was looked at by security with no questions). I put a 12 pack of beer in a checked bag and 1 liter for the DW in another checked bag.

  8. How are you getting to the port? Are you taking RCCL transfers or rental car. If transfers, you won't be able to buy at Port Canaveral and will have to pack it in your checked luggage at home. If you're taking a rental, buy it in Port Canaveral before dropping the car off and put it in your checked luggage. Yes you can take alcohol on board a plane in your checked luggage. The only restriction the airline gave me was no more then 5 liters in any one bag.

  9. and I can now afford to cruise whenever I want.........................:D

    Dear John,

I know this letter will come as a shock to you but I can no longer put this off. I am your long lost ----------(you may fill in the blank). More than 50 years ago I was switched at birth and the mistake was not found until recently.

I know this is so hard to believe but tests will prove this. If you will send me a hair sample I will be glad to send back the DNA tests that show the match. My struggle has been so long and hard but I am finally glad that it has paid off and I have found my family.

    Your loving heir,

    Mike
