Thanks for such a quick reply. Will give the wi-fi a miss then. 😉

Thanks for the info.
We are doing this trip in late January and have a few of questions if you don't mind?
- Did you by-chance use the wifi and if so how good is it in the open ocean?
- Did you feel you had enough time each of the islands visited?
- Was it warm while travelling to and from Hawaii?
Thanks

Hello,
Partner and I are on this cruise. Can't see a RC so decided to start one. Any others on the cruise let us know if interested in having drink together on the ship.

Hello everyone. My partner, Christopher and I (RD) and I are on the Emerald Princess 18 Jan 2019 to Hawaii. Has anyone for an LGBT roll call for it by chance?
Also, first time Princess so anything we should know about being a gay couple sailing with them? We have taken part in the FOD on other cruise lines and really enjoyed meeting other LGBT+ people.

Hello. We are taking a cruise to Hawaii on Emerald Princess and wonder if they offer milk alternatives on their cruises such as soya or almond milk?
Thanks

No idea why. And the travel agent stated they didn't know why either. Just odd only one company did it. I have never sailed with Princess so not sure why they thought they were worth a premium to the other cruise lines.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. Much appreciated and will look into them.

I recently tried to book a Princess cruise from the UK through an American site and they informed me that Princess required them to charge an additional $100 because of being from the UK. They apologised for this and said any of the other cruise companies do not charge this. So it does seem Princess does charge more for UK pax in my experience at least even going through a US travel agent.

Hello. We are sailing out of LA in January and on our return to LA we have 12 hours before our flight out of LAX. Any recommendations on what we can do bearing in mind we will have our luggage to deal with? It will be a Saturday if that makes any difference.

Thanks for posting Harry and Joe.
I am glad to hear such good things about HAL. We are both really looking forward to it. Never really thought much about Half-moon Cay as it is their private island but it sounds from both of you like it.
What is so good about it and what is there to do on it. I have read that the time of year we are likely to be there might be cool in temperature.

Thanks BearInStPete. Your info is nice to know.

I am not seeing many roll calls for HAL. That has me a little concerned:(
Hopefully we will have some others join us before long.

Hello,
My partner and I were going to do this crossing but then work got in the way and so we have had to take another cruise.
We have done the QM2 crossing before and it is truly a lovely experience. She handles the water beautifully:)
Don't worry too much about the lack of postings here for the crossing. They have a Friends of Dorothy meeting listed on the daily bulletin that will allow you to meet other travellers. As I recall they usually meet early evening in the Commodore Club on deck 9.
So wish we were joining you.

First cruise for my partner and me on HAL. I usually like cruises with a lot of sea days so not sure how much I will actually like all of the stopping.:D
Don't see a roll call for this trip yet.
Does anyone know if they have FOD meetings?

Motorized Scooters and ports
in Greece Ports
Posted
Hello everyone,
I am looking to take a Greek Island cruise in Oct 2020 with a friend that uses a motorised scooter. My question is how difficult will it be for her to be able to do the different ports with a motorised scooter? Are there some islands better than others and any that have no access for scooters?
Thanks for any advice you can provide?
Ben
