  1. Thanks for your reply. My thoughts are it will be a water taxi or vaporetto. I was hoping it will be a water taxi and thought someone here might know. I don’t relish having to deal with luggage after a long flight on public transportation.

  2. May I ask another question about transfers?  We will be arriving in Venice and staying at the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel on a Viking precruise extension. Are the hotel transfers done by water taxi?  Thanks. Don’t know if it makes any difference, but there are sixteen of us.

  3. You don't need a form. On the Carnival website for investor relations, they give you the fax number for each of the different lines they own for you to send your information. I've done this for about five cruises now. If you booked through a travel agent, you need to have them submit your request.

Include your booking number, ship, sailing dates, departure port, cabin number, and names on the booking. Simply attach a copy of your brokerage statement showing the owners name and indicating that you own a minimum of 100 shares of CCL stock. Allow about 2 weeks for processing. I keep a copy of my previous request letter on my computer so that I just need to update it with the current date and new cruise info. Be sure to tell them how much you are requesting.

I booked my cruise through a TA, but I submitted my request myself via fax. Received email confirmation from Princess for my OBC about two weeks later.

  4. First, thanks to those who shared about the OBC benefit of owning stock. I have a quick, maybe dumb question:o question. I could not find a form for requesting the OBC on the corporate web site, so I assume you fax the requested information to the number listed for the appropriate cruise line. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong!:D Also, do they confirm by return fax or do I watch my reservation on line to see if it shows up in 7 working days?

  5. I waver between paperbacks I can leave on ship or a nook. I read a lot, belong to a book discussion group. The decision is the weight of books in your luggage or the price of books loaded on your nook!!!! As to what I will bring to read; Dana Stabanow & Sue Henry (I am going on an Alaskan cruise next), a couple of regency romances (my trashy reading) and anything else that that strikes my fancy at the moment!!!!
