I like a lot of RR from the late 50's and 60's but they have very few songs there. SO, I do older country stuff but even that is limited. When i do find something I can sing it's usually a little over 2 minutes. Since a lot of the **** the younger people sing is often 5-8 minutes I should get to sing 2 songs. Anyway, even in my 70's I can hold a tune and enjoy singing a few numbers and I know how to get the crowd going.

Returning to Galvestin on Vista 10/31/21 we arrived late because of a storm We missed our flight and had to overnight in Houston. With Carnival insurance (AON) I filed a claim for the room.. I just called to ck on the status and they said they never gor anything and have no record of it. I sent them everything required, bill and proof of payment and an explanation from Carnivalthat the ship docked late..  I was asked for the clain # and told the guy I didn't have one since I never heard back from them.He said they have no record of it and when I asked him what do they do with mailed in claims, he hung up. I've bought that insurance for 23 Carnival cruises but never again.

I  had two cruises cancelled and rebooked that were paid n full cruises with the $600 OBC. If I book another cruise in the spring and that is cancelled will Carnival, or are they at this time giving the OBC and can you have more than one?...In addition are the cruises they just cancelled being blessed with the OBC?

Signed up for 4 of these. 2 never happened, one was held at 6 PM (dinner time) and the other they put out a table with lemonade and cookies and had rap music so loud you couldn't have a conversation. No organization, no door prizes, no host. For those cruises I planned M&G's and  slot pulls and got Carnival to donate door prizes and they all were a lot of fun.

You need a new PVP.Our guy took care of everything in one phone call.Rebooked with the $600 OBC.

The govt. just increased the rates to $50.00 an hour. That's per taxi, not per person. Taxis can carry up to 5 people. I always arrange a tour ahead of time with Bully . His email is bullytaxi79@hotmail.com. To see the island, I recommend a 3 - 4 hour tour. I don't know if you will find someone available at the port, but some people have reported on here that they have.

Thanks for all the good information...We have had our share of terminal problems over the years including Hurricane Sandy (NY) when my wife tripped over a small suitcase in the baggage section when they were on auxiliary power. She broke her hand and really messed up her teeth, I had insurance but the people at the terminal never turned in the accident report so we got zilch....Lesson learned.

We have a 14 Journey cruise from Galveston on the 16th. The city is flooded now and they call for rain every day up to our departure day...SO, what happened to all those people last weekend who couldn't get to the ship. My wife is physically challenged and could never walk 2 or 3 blocks in 2' of contaminated water. Besides us having 100#'s of luggage...Does Carnival give a credit or would insurance cover the cruise?

Planning a M&G for a large group and since I need to plan ahead I need to know if Breeze has a Sports Bar connected to the casino. I know we can probably get a room from Carnival but that wouldn't happen until we board the ship and with over 100 people and no way of contacting them,I need to find a place ahead of time. I looked at the diagram of the ship but it doesn't show anything...Appreciate any help you can give me.

Your roomie should have also taken an earlier time. If you get there later you walk right on the ship.

The idea is to make money. Nobody is forced to play. My biggest complaint about Bingo is that its often scheduled right before the nightly show and most people stay, making it hard to find a seat.

If you're flexible and watch for bargains, IMO, there is no more economical way to travel than cruising. We avoid AI since we don't drink and don't need to pay hundreds extra for a service we won't use.

Too cols, too hot. Ever think of bringing one of those cheap, small thermometers with? Lots of complaints but nobody ever say what the temp is.

IMO infants should stay at home if at all possible. They are more susceptible to germs since they have their hands and feet in their mouths a lot and they won't even know they were on a cruise. We had a crying baby next cabin for 7 days once. Not much to say to the parents, babies cry. Another time a small child in a highchair in MDR threw everything put in front of her on the floor. when the parents asked for a box of Cheerios the kid threw that all over the floor too and screamed bloody murder...I love kids but sometimes parents put them in situations they shouldn't be in.

Our worst excursion was in Cozumel where we visited a tequila company and bought $300 worth. Then the cruise line confiscated it and we couldn't drink any till we got home.

Its called the rules. Surprised you didn't know you weren't allowed to drink liquor bought on shore on the ship.

Sailed Princess 3 or 4 times, carnival 18. IMO Princess is a cut above Carnival with food and especially entertainment. If similar cruises were offered at the same price I'd choose Princess...Normally Carnival is a better value for your vacation dollar.

Does Princess and the other lines owned by Carnival give stockholders the same OBC if you own at least 100 shares?

I'll also just wondering; what good is having jewelry if you are afraid to wear it. Dw has nice stuff and never wears anything (jewelry) on shore but hauls her collection with her every cruise...And we always use the safe. And wearing costume jewelry on shore? A thief doesn't know the difference when he sees you, so you could be putting yourself in harms way.
