We are booked on the Ecstasy for Nov 27. Any idea who the cruise director will be? I looked at the spreadsheet posted but didn't see anyone listed for November.
-
Any idea which ship will take Valor sailings after March 2016 while she is in dry dock? We are booked on Valor at end of April 2016.

We were in St Maarten 4 yrs and the shops & bars just across the street from the beaches run specials for...1 umbrella, 2 chairs & 5 beers for $15. As the day goes on the prices get cheaper. Hope this helps

I broke this news here the other day and was ridiculed. You heard it here first.
Thank you.
Can't find your post where you broke this news. Could you post link to your post?

Anyone out there heard anything about the Fantasy leaving Charleston for Miami and the Victory coming to Charleston? Supposedly there was a post on a Carnival Facebook board about this. Let us know if you have heard anything about this.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Fantasy. We have been on her ,in 28 days, 3 times. We love her so much that we have booked already for November 2015. We were on the Sunshine in June and much prefer the Fantasy.

Hands down...EPIC ROCK is the best.

Well worth the money. My husband & I did the tour on the Fantasy and it was the best excursion we have ever spent money on.:D

I honestly don't know what you people are talking about. The port is NOT horrible.
I've sailed on her several times from Charleston and I've never had an issue with either embarking or disembarking. I've used drop off, hotel shuttles, and parking on various occasions.
They do an excellent job with what they have. Seriously. They do. In fact, the way they shuttle people to the small terminal helps keeps the lines flowing along smoothly. Otherwise, they'd have mobs arriving at once and nowhere to put them. And I absolutely LOVE the silent disembarkation. Do you really need someone yelling at you over the speaker telling you it's OK for you to disembark? You can't read the info that's given to you to see what time your number is listed?
The only thing I don't like is having to drag my bags from the terminal back down to the taxi/shuttle area. But if I weren't so cheap, I could pay a porter to do it. Getting on the shuttle back over to the parking building is simple and quick, too.
Considering the fact that she's the oldest ship in the fleet - I think she's in fantastic shape. I love that class ship. I don't need a big tv. I don't need a specialty restaurant. I don't need 2.0 upgrades. But I do appreciate having a port to which I can drive in less than 1/2 a day!
Stop whining, people! If you don't like Fantasy or Charleston or the port terminal, sail from somewhere else! I'll happily continue to sail her! In fact, it's been almost a year and I miss her terribly. Had she been included in the Casino offer I just got, I'd be sailing her again soon.
I completely agree. I love Fantasy and are going on her for the 4th time in November. We were on the Sunshine in June and we prefer the Fantasy class. I love the fact that there is no BIG screen and no extra specialty bars on lido, to me those took up too much deck space. Charleston is a bit confusing but not bad once you know what is going on. LOVE the Fantasy..Hope she doesn't leave anytime soon. Looking at booking again for Nov. next year.:D

We were on the Sunshine in June and never even seen our room steward. Why would I leave them a gift? They are lucky I didn't go and remove tips totally. This is the first cruise with Carnival that we have never seen our room steward.

Absolutely love the Fantasy. We will be on her for the third time in Nov. and looking at doing next year. We just got off the Sunshine in June and my husband & I prefer the Fantasy over the Sunshine.

Will be in Nassau in June, travelling with DH, DM & DD. My mother would love to cruise the harbor and see the stars homes. Is Sunshine Cruises a good tour company for this or do you recommend anyone else?
Thanks for your help!

The way I understand it you will be considered gold at check in, therefore you will receive gold benefits on this cruise. Enjoy & Happy Cruising!!:D

Unless she is cruising the Glory, the other ships currently still have them.
3 other ships will be added to the program over the next few months, but most ships will still have the cold soups for a while.
Does anyone know which 3 ships will be next for the new menus?
I am booked on the Mardi Gras!!!
