  1. Has the soot problem on the Regal for the aft facing cabins been resolved? I just received C740 as my assigned cabin for my March voyage, an aft facing cabin. Just wondering if I should request a change in cabins or keep it.

  2. Has anyone used the Bags to Go luggage delivery service from FLL to their cruise ship? I'll be flying in on an early morning flight to get on the Regal Princess in February and want to go explore Fort Lauderdale without my luggage before getting on the ship but I'm a little paranoid that our luggage will not get to the ship. Any good or bad experiences with BTG would be appreciated.

  3. My friend and I are booked on the Star Princess in November and I just found out that there's a slight chance I may not be able to go. Would Princess allow me to have another person go in my place? I'm sure there would be some cost involved but that's ok. Just curious if it's possible.

  4. I also stayed at the Sheraton just a few weeks ago and it was perfect. The rates were very good compared to neighboring downtown hotels. We took the light rail train to and from Seatac airport to downtown which stops one block from the Sheraton and it's only $2.75 per person. There are areas to put your luggage and the ride was about 40 minutes.

  5. I just got off the Grand on Sunday and was wondering if there is a new evening turndown policy. On all of my previous cruises the room steward would know my dining time and come in to turn down my bed, leave chocolates, pick up towels etc. aotomatically but on this cruise the only times I had the evening service was when I would leave the placard out to clean my cabin. No big deal, just wondering. I was going to ask the room steward but never ran into him.

  6. Thanks for all the replies. I love the fact that I can bring on additional bottles of vino for $15 per bottle. Just wanted to make sure I didn't have to pay again in the dining room. Thanks for clearing this up and CHEERS!

  7. I know I am allowed to bring on one bottle at no charge and additional bottles by paying a $15 per bottle corkage fee up front. My question is will I have to pay an additional $15 corkage fee if I bring those bottles that I've already paid the initial corkage fee to the dining room? I get conflicting answers when I called Princess.
