We had the same experience after our recent Eurodam cruise. It was great! :)

Heading to the Caribbean in February on the Eurodam. Are the ESPN channels the international version (mostly cricket matches) or the US version? Also, is there any possibility of the Olympics being shown on any channel? Thanks!

We did the Viking Homelands cruise. It was one of the best cruises I've ever been on. The ship was beautiful, food outstanding, and the itinerary wonderful. I enjoy HAL, but there really was no comparison. :)

Dauntless I was in a DV on deck 4 4103 Starboard toward the aft of the ship.

I prefer to be on a higher deck more midship and if we plan another Viking Oceans that is what we will book.

Kathy, did you have enough storage space for clothes etc.? We cruise in June, and from the photos, I'm really wishing we had selected the next level up from DV in order to have a dresser.

Wondering if regular, not international, ESPN is shown on cabin TV's. Sailing on March 7 and hoping to watch the Duke/Carolina game. Any recent cruisers know? Thanks!

Just got off the phone with Princess. We ended up saving $218 between OBC and gratuities. However, deposit is now non-refundable. We sail on the Caribbean Princess in March. 😊

Wow..I finally found someone else on the boards doing the Viking Imperial Jewels of China on June 3,2013. Brandy we're a group of 4 and are freaking out a little at the UNKNOWN of it all. This will be our first trip with Viking and the first trip to Asia. We are SO excited though. I can't even imagine how you are considering you'll be doing this with no official traveling companion. From what I understand we'll all be in relatively small groups so hopefully you'll click with someone in your group...if not I'll keep an eye out for someone who seems to be "on their own" and will snag you to join us if at all possible. I kept reading these boards looking for someone else on this cruise too. We are 4 from Burke, Virginia. It is also our first Viking cruise and our first trip to Asia. There are two others from Burke going as well. We just picked up our visas this week, so should be good to go. Which hotel have you been asssigned to in Beijing? That seems to determine your tour group.

I know I posted this before, but didn't get any specifics - thought maybe someone different would see this and respond.

We are staying in cabin 8171 Millenium, has anyone stayed in that cabin or close by? Any thoughts, pictures, good location, etc??

We sailed recently (Oct) on the Summit and had cabin 8156. This is the identical location, but on the starboard rather than port side of the ship. The Summit is identical to the Millenium in design and size.

We loved the cabin! Very quiet location near the aft stairs. Great balcony and views. We'd book a cabin there again in a heartbeat! You'll love it!
