  1. Have any of  you that have recently disembarked at FLL been able to use Luggage Direct for bag delivery to the airport? When I go to the Holland "Know before you go" they provide a link that took me to a site that stated:

"2. Luggage Direct (onboard airline check-in) - While onboard your cruise, you will be able to sign up in your stateroom if the service is being offered. Holland America will send an enrollment form to your cabin."

We always take  advantage of this service and are hoping it will be available when we get back from our cruise in a couple of weeks...  Thank you

  2. I really appreciate all the posts.  We are on the November 21-Dec 1, 10 day cruise.  Was notified we are not going to Grand Turk as they are not open to cruise ships.  Instead will be going to Puerto Rico…then they changed the order of the ABC Islands. But all is good, we got our booster this past weekend, a collection of masks, and our covid test to use before cruise.   I will take pictures of deck 4 as we are in aft cabin, and post.

  3. We love the deck 5 aft with the wrap around. We try to book it most of the time. There is nothing like watching the Panama Canal Locks close from our balcony...you can almost reach out and touch them. plus you can have the best view of the glaciers and wildlife on the shore in Alaska... I also like sitting out at night and watch the beautiful blue wake in the Caribbean ..Because the aft on 5 is covered if it rains you can still enjoy all the sites... Have been upgraded on occasion, but do not like the side suites, even though those rooms are bigger and yes closer to the Neptune... the deck 5 balcony continues to call our name.... I am sad the aft balcony's on the newer ships are smaller so I guess we will continue to sail on the vista class...

  4. My husband runs the running trails on Half Moon Cay every time we are there (he probably run for a little over an hour, about 7-8 miles (unsure how many loops)...it is one of his favorite things to do... I will clarify with him when I see him tomorrow...but I seem to remember it is blacktop type of material... whatever it is he loves to run there (so I know it is not gravel, stone or sand)...DB

  5. I appreciate reading all the input from those of you that live in Vancouver.... I need some advice... My husband is a runner 8-10 miles a day and I know he wants to make sure he can run on land the day of the cruise (August 1) as well as we plan to stay a few days post cruise... the seawall looks wonderful but he is concerned about crowds (bikes walkers etc)... any suggestions... pre or post cruise stay... thank you in advance...db777
