Norwegian doesn't have a transfer service from Long Beach Airport to the port in San Pedro. Can anyone recommend a reliable shuttle service other than Uber or Lyft?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I picked the wrong board and will post on the West Coast Departures board. -

Does anyone know the cost of the ship transfers from Long Beach Airport (LGB) to NCL Bliss for 3/12 cruise? Tried to find it on the NCL site and couldn't. Would also like to know cost of taxi or Uber/Lyft to compare. Tried the West Coast departure board and was advised to try here.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'll try on that board.

Danish Viking - Thank you for all the useful information you give on this thread. I may have missed it, but do the buses and metro take credit cards or do we need DKK. I don't think we be using public transportation enough to use a travel card.

On the BREAKAWAY now. NCL came to a compromise. If you booked before the port change they will give you a free shuttle to the train station and back with train tickets. You have to register at the service desk and get. a red dot on your keycard.
Ellie,
Thanks for posting this information. Would you know how many free shuttles there were to the train, the times there & back to the ship, and were the free train tickets included?
We have made reservations for the HOHO bus that picks up at the port, but if the train & shuttle are free, we might cancel the HOHO bus reservation.

From the airport it is easy. You just take the metro from the airport and get off at Forum station. The metro ride takes 17 minutes and a single ticket (3 zones) costs 36 DKK.
To Oceankaj, you can take the metro towards the airport and get off at Nørreport station to connect to bus 25. Single ticket (2 zones) costs 24 DKK.
It takes around 15-20 minutes to walk from forum station to the city centre, so if you are able-bodied you might not need public transport during your stay in the city.
There is a 48 hour citypass which costs 150 DKK. It covers all public transport in the centre (including going to the airport and the cruise ship terminal). It doesn't include excursions to, say, Roskilde or Frederiksborg castle.
Additionally there is the Copenhagen card, which costs 575 DK for 48 hours. Besides public transport it includes entrance to most attractions (museums, tivoli, canal tour etc). You need to visit quite a few attractions for it to be worth the money. The Copenhagen Card works in the entire Copenhagen Region, so including Roskilde, Frederiksborg castle (Hillerød) or Kronborg castle (Helsingør)
Thank you Frederik, this is very helpful.

For those on this cruise, did NCL provide a free shuttle from Nynashamn to Stockholm for you? Did anyone use the Hop-on Hop-off bus that picks you up in Nynashamn?

Danish Viking,
We will be staying near the Forum metro stop. Would you be able to tell me how we can get there from the airport and then to Oceankaj from there? Does it make sense for us to buy a two-day travel card (can't recall what it's called)?

We have two cabins with SPD and I made reservations for four (online) at the three restaurants we wanted to eat at. We all have the SPD plan. We've all decided that, instead of one of the specialty restaurants, we would like to use one of the reservations for Cirque and just pay the slight upcharge. I have to cancel one of our specialty reservations in order not to be charged the total amount for the dinner and show at Le Cirque. Is there a way I can cancel online or do I have to call NCL?

Thanks Danish Viking for the information about the location of the AirbnB apartment. We'll take that into consideration when we make our choice.

What a wonderful thread! Danish Viking you are a treasure! I have been reading all the pages in this thread and have a question about an AirbnB in Copenhagen. Since they do not list the exact address on the site until you book, I wonder if you an tell me about the neighborhood that is listed. The listing says "Istedgade near Reventlowsgade (train station). Is this a nice area? There are no reviews on this place as it is a new listing. It is listed at a decent price and because we would need two hotel rooms, are considering it. Would you have any other suggestions? We are a family of four (mother, father, child, and grandmother), hence the need for two hotel rooms. Thanks so much for your help.
