  1. Can anyone direct me to a page where I can update myself on the changes?

Apologies for sounding like I just crawled out from under a rock, but I'm a Platinum level princess cruiser who has not cruised since 2018. It looks like much has changed.

I've been all over Princess' website and don't feel I totally understand what's happened in terms of service and food options.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know how far away your cruise is and whether you have time or not, but has your husband been tested for sleep apnea?  Several years ago, I had developed a terrible snoring problem and my DW could not sleep in the same room.  After too many years of this, I was tested for sleep apnea and diagnosed with it.  I have been on a CPAP machine ever since and it has totally stopped the snoring.  My DW has been able to sleep in the same room ever since I started on it, which has been 7 years now.

Thanks for your response. Yes, he's done a sleep study. The Dr says the only thing that will help is a surgical procedure to remove part of his throat. We've not decided to move forward with the surgery yet and are in limbo with the snoring.

It looks like two cabins it is, but the premium fare will be OUCH.

  3. Hi All,

I'm considering sailing on Discovery, and it will be my husband, my two year old son, and myself.

My husband has only recently (last couple years) developed a very bad snore. No ear plugs work, and sleeping in the same room, no matter how spacious, is not an option.  We either have to have a suite with real walls and door that shuts, or we will have to get adjoining cabins.

Can anyone help clarify if there is such a room configuration on the ship?  Also, if it's ridiculously expensive, it might be more affordable for us to spring for two basic interior cabins.

    Thanks for any advice.

  4. I am hoping someone else from the November 6th Caribbean Princess will be interested in going to the Jaguar Sanctuary in Limon, Costa Rica. It has been on my bucket list for years. So far....I'm unsuccessful in finding a tour. So would be interested in joining any one who already is booked on a tour.

Did you find a tour operator to do it? I contacted syl travel and received a response from them. They were willing to do a private tour of the Jaguar Sanctuary + ziplining (I wanted to do both). I think it's too pricey though. I'm curious as to if you had any luck joining a tour?

  5. Thanks for the review. We leave on Dec 10th for the same. Did you attend the book club meeting? I am somewhat reluctant to read the choices given but might if it seems worthwhile.

I'm on your cruise! Yay!

JOWgrandma, great review! Thanks for the details on the shows. I do like seeing them so will need to try to get their a bit earlier for good seats.
