Does anyone bring a noodle to float on while they snorkle?

I am a sissy :( when it comes to deep water.

I personally don't, but I did see someone with a flotation device last year. They also rent various items at the shop, snorkel equipment & floating mats, etc.

Our plans were to visit Paradise Point first for pictures, then on to Sapphire for some snorkeling, then on to Maggens for a short period before heading back to the ship.

My wife and I will cruisin' to St. Thomas next month. We're thinking of going with Godfrey Tours; however, his website indicates he doesn't go to Sapphire Beach as of now. His website says,

"Sapphire Beach is open, but the restaurant and bar on the beach have been closed for a long time. Restrooms are not maintained, dirty and in bad condition. Godfrey Tours will not take any guest to Sapphire Beach until this problem is solved."

Would you find this to be an accurate representation of Sapphire Beach? I just sent an e-mail to Godfrey to see if he still omits Sapphire Beach or if he can accommodate my wife and me.

actually you are below the carpeted seating area of the Hong Kong Noodle -which is only opened from 11:30- 2:30 I wouldnt worry about noise in your balcony room- Now those people in those inside cabins--they should worry--LOL

Hey guys, my girlfriends and I just booked this cruise and I am so excited. This will be our 10th Carnival cruise, so we will be platinum. We were able to get a great deal yesterday on a balcony cabin that we just couldn't pass up. We will be in cabins 8361 & 8363. Just look for the girls with the leis and drinks in their hands at all times.

 

BTW I loved your story Kathy, I got a real kick out of it. Thanks for the laugh.

We have booked 8361 Verandah on the Triumph. Is this a good choice?

I saw you just finished a cruise in 02/2009 according to your signature. Did you end up staying in room 8361 on the Carnival Triumph? If so, how was it? My wife and I have that room booked for a November 2009 cruise. Did you have any issues with noise from above? I believe the Hong Kong Noodle Company is above this room.
