So I booked a balcony on Miracle 1/6/19 on the Verandah deck/7239, and my travelling partner has never had a balcony during their cruising career. All they're concerned about is a bathrobe and the balcony. Do they still supply them in rooms, or is this additional? Thanks for any info.

We're heading out on her on 1/6/19. I'm travelling with my partner, who has beginning stages of Parkinsons. Booked a balcony on Verandah deck so he can relax when not feeling up to transiting through the ship. The garden area mentioned by someone on this thread sounds like something he'll like, too. Question-looking for an excursion in Cozumel that can easily accommodate him. Is the submarine a safe bet? It's been about 18 months since last cruise, so just curious if this ship has one. Going on her in January 2019.

Pick another cruise with a "drama free" itinerary. Since you cannot control other people due to their beliefs, then control what you can control. It sounds like there will be other drama anyway, so why not eliminate this area.

Just printed out the current ships in port for our upcoming CCL Miracle cruise at http://www.cruisecal.com. It worked great! Good suggestion.

my first cruise with my bf was on the carnival destiny. i was worried about how a couple would be treated by staff & passengers, but was soon put to ease. from the cabin steward moving the beds together to requesting a table for 2 at dinner to dancing in the disco together- it was a non-event to anyone nearby.

i've been a 10 cruises (some 4 day/some 10 day) since 2000 (3 on carnival), and have actually been well received on all of them. some are a bit more upscale or sedate depending on the dempgraphics and length of cruise, but we have never encountered a bit of hostility or major attention. i guess if someone notices, they may do a double-take, and then get back to their vacation.

i now have a new bf who never cruised before, and i'm breaking him in on a 4 nighter on the ccl imagination on 5/5/05. it may be a bit hectic/crazy with the short itinerary on younger crowd, but looking forward to it greatly with a vibrant passenger mix.
