As someone who rarely drinks, I find the meetups that actually happen are always in a bar.  Undoubtedly, I get the question 'what are you drinking' and when I respond 'club soda', I either get 'what, are you an alcoholic?" or I get the snub face as I am begin looking down upon. Quite frankly, I don't need that kind of interaction.  On my most recent cruise, I was sailing solo and did give it another chance, so I went to the location and when I went to the bar to order my drink, the bartender told me he didn't have club soda, this is a martini bar.  I wasn't going to order a drink that I didn't want so I promptly left.  If you are going to offer an Gay meetup, at least have it in a place where some could get non alcoholic beverages if they want them.

Anyone else booked on this sailing?

I have done both.  When I am seated, I tell the host/hostess that I am open to them seating other singles at my table. sometimes They do and sometimes I eat alone.

Will be traveling with family members.  Will be nice to meet a few fellow LGBT travelers to share the trip with.

Will be onboard alone.   Will be at the pool.  Anyone want to join me for fun, rest and relaxation?

Is it your first time to be here? And what sort of interest? 2 Days generally will be to explore the tourist places in the city and surroundings. If up to gay activities visit Oxford St for it.

It is our first time. We are staying near the Rocks, so we plan to see the Oper House, take a harbor dinner cruise and a day trip to blue mountains. Will look for Oxford Street.

1. First ask yourself Am I wanting to see Alaska on a cruise or do I want to take a cruise that is just going to Alaska?

if the focus is on seeing Alaska, look at a company that offers a smaller ship. if you just want to take a cruise that is going to Alaska, then choose a cruise line and ship with amenities that you would like.

Well, I forgot to mention...it's only at night time when everyone has turned in for the night. I'm not that brave to try it during the day...LOL! Besides, I here the ships have cameras all over the place. I guess nobody else what to fess up....lol.

Difference between tourists and travelers....

tourists complain about the differences (that's not how we do it back home) and travelers relish in them.

How about no Speedos by hairy men, hairless men, men over 12? Has this been covered? Or barely as the case may be.:eek:

Futuravision, who made you the person to decide what other people are comfortable wearing. If you dont like what someone is wearing, don't stare at them wearing it.

They may not like your choice of attire that day either.
