That will depend on the cruise and where it embarks from and the team doing the TAD process. The one and only time I requested a pass was in SJ. I went to a pre TAD meeting (usually a day or two prior to TAD) and the person in charged asked if anyone planed on leaving the ship on TAD. I did and received my pass at that time. My wife stayed onboard the ship.
Thank you . We are definitely leaving the ship on that day. So, I will hope to get this pass. You have been a great help😉

TAD = Turn Around Day
How do you get this pass?

It's a pass you can get to leave the ship on TAD and also allows you to skip the normal embarkation line when you want to return to the ship. You will still have to go thru the security line at/in the terminal.
Sorry, now what is TAD?

Where is the cruise? There are different protocols if you are in the US versus out of the US.

You will meet up in a common area with any other B2Bers. You'll likely need to get off the ship for immigration (or just to zero out the ship), but that will be coordinated by crew. Then, you get back on before they start boarding everyone else, and you're good to go!
You will get something in your room letting you know what to do. That'll come when everyone else is getting their luggage tags to leave.
Things may vary a little from ship to ship and port to port, but that's the basic idea.
Thank you! This will help a lot🎉🎉

How does it work for ending one cruise and starting the other? We have the same cabin. This is our first B2B
Thanks

If you have time, take a 20 minute train journey to Haarlem. It’s a really pretty town, almost like a mini Amsterdam with lots of independent shops and cafes and an imposing church on the main square. It’s great for an afternoon stroll to escape the crowds in Amsterdam.
That’s exactly what we want to do! This is our third visit to Amsterdam so we want to journey out. It sounds easy to do? No need for a guide etc.??
Thanks

I couldn’t edit my previous comment but wanted to add, the pouches I have they lay flat and are only 2 ounces (single serving). I am not sure how large your pouches are.
The pouches are 8oz each. So I need to bring 8/9 for the cruise😎

To the OP: If this supplement is medically necessary, contact the special needs department. They will give you a letter to show security that you are allowed to bring it onboard. Otherwise, you are limited to the normal quantities of non-alcoholic beverages allowed. If this supplement is available as a powder, you might want to bring that.
It is not a RX It is something we take daily to replenish cell signaling molecules that are diminished through various factors. We won’t be a day without it.

It is more of a nutritional drink, it isn’t ASEA. It also comes in a bottle, which does need to be refrigerated after opening. The pouches are easy for traveling and can be frozen.
Ok. I understand. ASEA comes in pouches. We wouldn’t have a day without it! That is why I am questioning bringing it on the ship. It’s too expensive to be confiscated ‼️😱😱

I would take the pouches. I take a liquid supplement and brought the pouches. I am able to freeze mine and put them in a soft cooler that my husband uses for his insulin.
Why Do you freeze the supplement? Is it ASEA?

The question will be are these required for a medical condition, or something you just like to drink.
We take a product called ASEA. It is supplement/replenishment of Redox Signaling Molecules that we take daily. It is a liquid in bottles or pouches. We won’t be without it ‼️‼️💙💦💦

Best bet would be to contact special needs.
Is there a phone number for SPECIAL NEEDS? I never heard this prompt on the phone system.

My husband and I take a liquid supplement that comes in 32 oz bottles or 8 oz
pouches. Each type will be sealed prior to boarding We have never ocean cruised with this replenishment nor would we want to. The issue is being able to bring it on this cruise. Any guidance would be helpful. TY😎

HELLO!!
Any guess as to when the next wave of cancellations will be made? Our cruise is May 1 And we leave from the states April,28 Maybe🤷♀️😱😰🤷♀️‼️⁉️⁉️⁉️
Thanks

My question is IF ppl from North America are not allowed to fly into Europe ,how will Ama handle this scenario? Will we forfeit the cruise with no credit for future cruise???
We have no intentions of canceling our May 1,2020..We are hoping things will be calmer and panic mode gone. What do you do with your airfare?? Pay the ticket change fee? What are your thoughts?

Update: I was able to pre-pay our gratuities about two weeks ago. It was $300US for 2 of us on a 7 day cruise.
I went to Amawaterways website and their recommendation for a 7 night cruise is 100E per person. This does not include the cruise director . Why did you pay $300.00?

Personally, being clean an neat is most important. No bathing suites, muscle tee shirts or PJ’s!!! Formal attire is not necessary. Being comfortable does not = inappropriate dress 😎

We are booked on the AMA Christmas Market Cruise on the Rhine during Thanksgiving week and it looks like there are at least one or two daytime activities to choose other than visiting a Christmas market. I’m afraid that one or more Christmas markets a day for 7 days would be way too much for anyone to bear.
Christmas markets are THE THING TO DO when you go on a Christmas market cruise!! Perhaps this timing is not the right fit for you😉😉😉

Cellagirl, thank you for your response! Which cruise did you do? Am I understanding correctly that your cruise had some markets, but wasn't just focused on markets? If so, that would be a good one for us!

We were on the Rhine ,Basel to Amsterdam. We wanted to do and see all the Christmas markets so I did not look into anything else . If you sail during this time, late Nov. to the middle of Dec.,most ppl are into the market scene. If you are not perhaps another time would meet your needs. Every stop had Christmas markets. 🎄🎄🎄
