  1. I have received a promotion from Cunard for 10% off of 2024 cruises if booked before 12 February. I booked a cruise in January and missed out on the discount. I have contacted both my agent and Cunard direct to ask for the discount but have been turned down (it does say ...may not be applied retrospectively to existing bookings).

     

    I just wondered if anyone had any experience of getting these discounts applied to their bookings in the past and if so how to do it.

  2. Just wanted to agree here. The website is awful. So many of the links take you nowhere

    "Request unsuccessful: error"

     

    I would never book directly with them through the site as I have no faith that it would work. I just can't understand why its so much worse than all of the other cruise lines I have sailed with.

  3. Just got off the Navigator on my first Royal Caribbean Cruise (been on about 20 cruises with other companies) and couldn't believe how bad the subbed situation was. Could never get a sunbed on deck ever when the ship was at sea. There were towels on all the beds before 8:0am and the staff would do nothing about them being unoccupied for over 30 minutes (Celebrity always moved towels etc if the bed was empty for more than 30 mins). So many people complained at Guest Services that it was ridiculous.But nothing happened.

     

    Very disappointed with RCI that I would never cruise with them again, there were so many things that were just not up to scratch, sunbeds being just one. I think they have probably just reduced staffing levels to such an extent that service in all departments is poor. The staff that are there try their best but there is too much for them to do.
