  1. A few years ago, we had a cruise stop in Falmouth and we did a zip line excursion. We took a bus and he drove us into the jungle. The driver stop the bus and says "I got robbed right here a month ago". Everyone one the bus yelled GO.lol

  2. I manage a huge corporate website and the HAL website is horrible.  Just think how much money it costs them to have a website that is so frustrating.  I have to switch browsers, clear cookies, rub my head, and pat my stomach six times just to get logged in.

We are going on the Nov 6th sailing of the Meraviglia and my father-in-law talked to a rep on the phone and he said they will not accept antigen test unless they are CDC approved.  What the heck does that mean???  I don't know if the reps for MSC even read the website or because they have a different answer depending upon who you talk to.  

  4. I am booked on the November 6th Meraviglia.  Go into the cruise with a good attitude and just roll with the changes. Yes, MSC is a little different than other cruises; however, the ship is beautiful, your at sea, and you don't have to clean up after you eat.  If you are picky about food, buy one of the specialty dining packages.  The specialty restaurants are great.  

     

    I had a friend cruise on the Royal Caribbean Oasis and as he was getting off the ship, he remarked to a guy standing next to him that this has been such a great cruise.  His response, this has been a horrible cruise.  Any cruise is what you make of it.  Attitude is the difference between an ordeal and an adventure.

  5. I don't believe that the slow refund is due to cash flow problems, but due to incompetence from their IT staff. I booked an excursion and they double billed us for it.  I waited 70 minutes on hold to talk to someone.  I finally got through, explained the problem, and they said "no problem, we will refund your money in 6 months".  WHAT!!! this was your mistake and I am going to have to wait 6 months to get my money back????

  6. We sailed on the Seaside and we thought the buffet was great, specialty restaurants were great, the main dining room was not so great.  Our waiters had a problem with English, the wait was long, the food was cold, bland, and the deserts weren't that great.  We are going on the Meraviglia in November and I'm hoping that the main dining room is improved over the Seaside.

  7. We went on the Seaside a couple of years ago.  I thought the Specialty restaurants were great.  I liked the buffet, but I thought the Main Dining Room was awful.  They covered everything in a bland sauce and the portions were small.  The deserts all tasted the samel.
