I went directly to guest services and I was the first one there. I had done some research on line as to which one I wanted. I ended up choosing number 10 which was just down the hill from the restrooms. Loved the location

I always take gift cards with me and add them at the kiosk. It’s pretty simple.
-
I always get a couple of boxes of the freshly baked cookies. They are sooo good! I open them as soon as we get in the cabin. We also get water and drinks

I had #10 and it was great. Close to the bathroom. Just make sure as soon as you get on the ship you go to guest services because it’s first come first serve.

Looking forward to your review. Just booked the sunshine for 11/2/19 once it's in my home port of Chas :)

I’m on the same cruise, looking forward to it

We were on the Elation a few weeks ago and my friend checked into booking while onboard and their price was $75 higher than the website. She came back and called Carnival and got it cheaper.

I just got back from the Elation a couple of weeks ago and the Serenity area is just ok. Nothing like the Sunshine which in my opinion has the best Serenity.

I think it’s different on each ship. We were never ask day or night for servicing. Our steward came morning and night and always had ice in the ice bucket. We never had to ask for one. It was in the room. He also brought towels morning and afternoon.

Just got back from a cruise and it was my friend’s birthday. I had ordered a small 6 inch (u can also order a 10 inch)cake before the cruise and had it delivered to the cabin. We just took it with us to the dining room. I told the head waiter and he served it to us and instead of all the waiters singing, he made an announcement to everyone In our area and we all sang Happy Birthday. It was nice.

We just got off the Elation last week and never were ask which one we preferred. He came in every morning and night. Only difference we got our towel animal in the mornings instead of nightly. He always left clean towels morning and night and ice in the bucket also.

I have the passport card only and have never had any trouble. With that being said, with having family with you if something was to happen to one of them and needed to be flown back to the states, you can’t do that with a card. You have to have the full passport.

Glad this was better than I thought when I saw the topic. Went on Elation back in August before the 2.0 and going again in two weeks. Looking forward to the updates. Loved the ship before the upgrades

We always take chips and snacks. Especially after I found out Pringles are about $5 on th ship!

I think I read the 15% starts on Jan 18th

Hadn’t heard that!

It’s on John Heald’s FB page for reference

What are everybody’s feelings on the changes Carnival has made about not having prime tv channels, the 15% fee being added to Funshop orders and no more free room service? It will now cost from $2 to $6from the hrs of 10pm to 6am.
That’s three pretty big hits at one time, depending on whether you use any of them. I use all three and it’s a little disappointing to me.

No more free room service between 10pm to 6am. The reason they are giving is too much wasted food. It will cost from $2 to $6.On top of that anything ordered pre cruise that is sent to your cabin a 15% fee will be added to it. So the high dollar liquor will be even more expensive.

I was on that same Cruise! Had a great time!

My friend goes through the same thing each time. She had a hip replacement and we just laugh about it because we know it’s going to happen

Nov 4th here on the Vista

I'm cruising on Nov 4 and when I return on the 12th Miami Port Express is picking us up. They are a company that only transports to and from the Ports.
-
Mine has done the same thing. Just shows the home port and the bus transportation. Mine is in Nov. I'm still checking many many times a day. I actually called Carnival and ask and she said it just means it's sold out. Didn't make sense to me because when it's listed it shows sold out. Why take it completely off?
