    Just FYI -

Dunking is what Americans do with donuts.

Ducking is what Brits do with wenches.

    Hope you enjoy it!

PS If it's the same wench as last year, her name is also Laura.

I will have to see what her name is when I go next month. Thanks for the info on the ducking!

Wife likes pump hand soap so I pack it whenever we travel in hotels or cruise suites etc .never saw any ship offer that not even in penthouse.

MSC has pump hand soap built right into the sink.

Concierge, Aqua Class, and Retreat cabins have Bigalow branded toiletries. Some of the M & S class ships that have been Revolutionized may have other toiletry brands in Retreat Class. Someone Else can confirm whether that's true for M & S class Retreat cabins.

Thank you. We had Bigalow in our PH on Summit last year and fell in love with it then.

  4. In Bayonne, suite boarding is nothing very special. I do get a special roped off area but chairs are very close together. There is some food and drink for you but no little tables near the chairs to put anything on. They open up the ropes and walk all of you to the doors to board and then you are on your own until you get to your room. We were in the penthouse on Summit and thought we would get a personal escort but nope. The penthouse was on my bucket list and once we boarded everything was amazing but knowing it would be my only time doing the penthouse I was kinda let down that there was no escort to my room.

And always, ALWAYS print out a copy of the transaction you make to make sure it is on your account when you get on the ship...on our last cruise (recently), before we left, I called Celebrity to make sure the OBC was showing up on our account, and I was advised it was there.  We got on the ship and they didn't have the info in their computer.  I showed the rep the receipt that I printed out, and she still questioned it...it took 3 days for the ship had any record of it in their computers...

If you call to add it how do you get a receipt? Do they email something?

I'm on Eclipse in May.  NY-Bermuda.  I was hoping we were on the same sailing so we could go together to the Martini bar and see him pour 18 at once!  I'd tip him a whole $1 for that!

My friend and I might be willing to go for that with you! Find us at the martini bar most nights. We had a bartender do the flights just to show his skill and then hand out the martinis. We always got a couple. Might be the .25 tip I left him.

Sushi on Five has non-seafood dishes. Their ramen and pot stickers are pretty good

Yes they are. I don't eat fish and loved the chicken things on the menu. We went to Sushi on Five in May on Summit. We were in the Penthouse so specialty places were not an extra fee. Went twice and will go in May even thought I will have to pay for it then.

  8. My credit card charges a foreign fee for transactions. I read that everything charged to my credit card on the ship will be charged a foreign transaction fee by my credit card. I have never had this happen on any other cruise line. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this true?
