Once you are onboard you can reserve your dining times. The staff will always try to keep you with the same team because it benefits them in the long run. I have seen the same thing on the M and S class ships and my time dining. They like to keep you with the same staff as much as possible to you are more likely to add an additional tip at the end of your cruise.
Thank you

So- the reservations I make on the app aren't any use to me for the main dining rooms?

There is a strange thing with the booking system on Celebrity. It looks like you can reserve dining times on the E class ships. But in fact, you don’t have a reserved dining time. It’s all open seating.
So- the reservations I make on the app aren't any use?

For those who have done Anytime Dining on Beyond, if I make a reservation for the same time in one of the four main restaurants, will I have the same wait staff? Also, does it really matter which one I choose? I know that most of the nightly menus are the same with a few dishes different in each one. Am I better off checking the menu in the morning and choosing a different one every night and just showing up?
Thanks for any assistance.

Hi,
Has anyone booked a mini-suite for 4 on the Dawn? What are the accommodations for the two passengers not on the Queen bed? Is it a pull down and a couch or a couch and a folding bed?
Thanks

I absolutely recommend Bernard's Tours in St. Maarten. You will see a lot of the island and enjoy some beach time. The guides are entertaining and knowledgeable.

Can I bring a case of water on board? If so, can I check it with my luggage and will it be delivered to my room? If I bring just some bottles, should it be in my carry on or checked luggage? I have found conflicting answers so far. Just wondering what others have experienced.
Thank you in advance.

If you really want a specific time, make the reservation now on line. If you get into the preferred time, then cancel them. When we were on the Freedom in October, we did not make reservations before. We tried going down between 6:30 and 7 and were told to come back at 8:30. They made a reservation for the rest of the week for 8 and told us we were lucky to get it. I have done my time dining a few times and would never do it again with out making the reservations as soon as they open up. Royal Caribbean could learn a lot from Norwegian where dining is such a smooth process.

I purchased passes through www.bahamasdaypass.com. We had access to everything in the park. We just had to show our printed confirmation and received our bands. It was an easy process. Make sure you are in port long enough to make it worth the time and leave yourself time to get a cab back, though we found cabs always available.

All good advice/info Thanks again

We have walked off on other cruise lines- only had one long wait. It is doable as long as the ship clears customs on time- that is my big fear.

thanks for the info

Hi,
I haven't sailed NCL for a while but was wondering if they allow you to walk off early with your luggage. I am looking at a cruise ending in San Juan and trying to figure out if we can make an 11:30 flight home.

I would highly recommend Bernard's Tours. It was the best private excursion we have ever done. They will meet you at the pier- the guide was professional and entertaining. We spent time watching the planes land and take-off, some shopping time and time at Orient Beach. We were back in plenty of time to spend some time at the shops on the pier. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the info. We don't drink soda- only water. Just wanted to have it for the convenience. We will be in Florida for a few days before and need to return the rental car early to avoid another days charge.

I am sailing on the Freedom on Sunday and would like to bring a case of water. Three years ago when checking luggage we were told we had to carry it on. That was a pain because the rooms were not open yet. Has anyone been able to check water lately directly to the cabins?

When this happened to my husband and I we spoke to the waiter and maitre'd and they found a table for us at the later seating that night with the same wait staff. I would recommend asking for this. They are usually very helpful.

We recently sailed on the Freedom from Port Canaveral. We asked for a case of water that we had put a tag on be delivered with our luggage. We were told it could not be done at that port. We had to carry it on which was inconvenient. While the water is good on the ship it was nice to have the convenience of grabbing a bottle whenever we wanted to.

Has anyone ever used Orlando Luxury Transportation? We are arriving the day before our cruise and do not want to rent a car. We want to go to the Marriott in Port Canaveral and arrange to be picked up after the cruise and go back to the airport. Any info would be appreciated/

The breakfast at Johnny Rockets was the best we had on the Oasis. The food was hot and freshly made and the eggs were not salty like at the Windjammer.

The boat show in FLL is the first few days in November. If your cruise is then it may be difficult to see availability.
