  1. What people like in music is generally by age groups. The music that we grew up is the music that we like to hear. If the majority of the boat is above 50 then oldies , and 70 music is what you generally like, and that is what they need to play. if it is a majority of people between 30 and 50 then 80 and 90s music is what they want. Those under 30 prefer modern music . Carnival should come up with the average age of the passengers and play per portioned amount of music for each group. and Don't forget the country music lovers who's choices is country music and you cannot split them up by age group. The DJs should not play the music that they like as most of the passengers don't care for it. And volume is always a problem. The music should be back ground music and not so loud that you can hold a conversation. I wish this lady the best of luck, trying to keep everyone happy is impossible.

  2. I was on the paradise at the end of march. The ship is an older fantasy class. but can provide a great cruise. I have been on enough of them (Fantasy class ships) and have had great cruises. I was left feeling that the crew could of been better. The most disappointing thing was the Main Dinning room and food quality, don't get me wrong the food wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as my 11 past cruises. The ports were good. We still had a great time but a cruise is what you make it.

  3. Thanks for the review . I was beginning to think that Carnival was sliding into a poorer cruise line with the quality disappearing in the food. My last cruise was on the Paradise and the food quality was poor (first time in 11 cruises) and I had read many reviews saying the same. It is nice to read that at least on one ship food quality is still important . I am sailing in September on the Freedom and Now I am looking forward to it.

  4. Nola over Miami any day of the week. The food there is super (we never got a bad meal) The prices are a little cheaper. The people are nicer The Elation is great. The Mayan ruins are fantastic to see( there are 2 different ones We went to one it beats all the ones I have been to, other passengers went to the other one and they felt it was the best) . But the choice is yours, have a great Cruise.

  5. There is so much to do in Nola, I have cruised out of there last year we got there 2 days early to see the city. Not only is there a lot to do the food there is great never had a bad meal there. We stayed on ST Charles street
