We cruised out of Galveston on August 22 on Independence.  Our check in time was 1:00. We got there around 12:30 and got in the line for our time.  We waited for a few minutes and then they let us through to inside.  We showed our vaccine cards and covid test several times in the process. All in all it took about and hour until we got on the ship.  We sailed with 1100 passengers and it was great!

We were on the Regal in one of these cabins in September. Very stormy seas since we were avoiding Hurricane Jose. The turbulence and noise were unbelievable. Never been seasick until this, our 19th cruise. Couldn't wait to get off the ship. Will never book a balcony this far forward again.

Our best cruise so far was on the Star Princess from L.A. to Hawaii this past March. The entertainment was superb - Modern Gentlemen, Tyler Brice, Captain Steubing, piano players, magician, trio in the Piazza and especially Elua. And all of this included Captain Tuvo. Weather was perfect, tours were great and we met some wonderful people.
