  1. My offer was listed as pending for the past few days and I just got notification that it was accepted. Does anybody know if I’ll be getting new luggage tags.  I signed onto my account but the luggage tags have my original state room number.

  2. Your best bet might be to bring one of those folding logo chairs from home with you that you can buy almost anywhere for a few bucks and they store in a bag with a strap. They would be easy to carry, could be taken with to the beach, and you still have the chair to take home. Not only all of that but they are also pretty comfortable.

    Great idea-Thanks!!

  3. Hi – I have a question I hope someone can help me with. Though I have done a lot of cruising this will be the first time that I will be sailing with three adults in one room. I was wondering if they will provide three chairs on the balcony rather than the standard two. I asked my travel agent about this but he told me to check with the cruise line. I haven’t called them as yet because most times when I call with a question they refer me back to my travel agent.

Anyway I would appreciate any information on this subject. Thanks!

  4. I am on the next sailing leaving on the 25th. Who is your cruise director? I heard a rumor that Richard Spacey would be returning to the Equinox at the end of the month and I am hoping he will be the CD on our sailing.

    Have a wonderful cruise!

  5. I just spent this past weekend in Key West, and had Key Lime Pie at four different locations.

First of all, I take back my opinion about pie at the Pier House. They are now serving it with meringue on the top. Any true Conch will tell you Key Lime pie is supposed to be served with whipped cream on top, and a graham cracker crust below.

Kermits pie was ok-but not the best we had. Flat Jacks on Duval had good Key Lime pie, but did not have topping on it at all.

The best pie we had this weekend was at the Half Shell at the Lands End Marina located at the end of Margaret Street. It was made in the traditional way, and was not too sweet or too tart, but was "Just Right".

  6. Go to the Pier House or their deli located on Front Street. I have been travelling to Key West since the early 60's and real key lime pie is light yellow in color, has a graham cracker crust and real whipped cream.

    Enjoy!

  7. Thanks to all of you for your replies. I am so overwhelmed by all of your good wishes and support. :o

I made a trip to David's Bridal today and saw a dress which may be the one with a little work. It has a satin bodice with beaded trim and long chiffon sleeves (to help cover up my upper arms). The only problem-other than I need to lose weight-is that it has a medium train. David's told me that they will not cut a train down. I called a local bridal shop, who also does alterations for the public, and they told me that the train can be cut down. The dress has a Renaissance feel, which is perfect as my husband is a Ren-faire junkie.

I will definately check out the bridal shop in Boynton Beach. Thanks for the suggestion.

I got tears in my eyes reading all of your responses this evening. I cannot thank all of you enough for your kind words.

  8. Ok-I asked this question on the wedding boards, but now realize that I need to ask the real experts. My husband and I are planning to renew our vows for our 30th Wedding Anniversary on the Radiance. My husband plans to wear a tux. I did not wear a wedding gown when we were married and I have always regretted it. :( I want to wear a wedding gown for the service, but since I am just over 50, I don't know if this would be appropriate. I would attempt to find a simple gown with little or no train.

Am I fooling myself. Did I miss my one shot at this? Will most of the woman and some of the men point at me and giggle. If anything, this would highly motivate me to go back on my diet. I'd really like some honest answers.

    Thanks.
