You should be just fine with inside or ocean view guarantee rate as they are at least a 4A
1A category is upper and lower
4A Inside can be two twins or combined

Thanks in advance!

We are in St. Thomas and notice the ship didn't leave at 6:00. Anyone know why?
Thanks!

Freedom over Conquest
Half Moon (awesome powder sand and nice how Carnival provides grilled lunch on island)and St. Thomas (Magen's beach) over St. Maarten (our favorite port) and St. Kitts
Food the same

It is nice to be walked down as a group right through customs and back on the same ship. But, it is great to experience two ships. We did the Oasis and Carnival Freedom so glad we didn't do Oasis back to back. Hated the lack of peaceful places and so glad we spent the second week on the Freedom. If you stay on the same ship on RCCL, they will move your stuff. Going B2B on Sunshine in a couple weeks. :)

Old sit-com re-runs and Good Morning America blaring in the early morning..... does that really please anyone?
We like Carnival, but there are a few things that leave us shaking our heads, the big screen is one of them.
Who wants to watch news to keep up with what is happening. Vacation is to get away from it all. Hate it! Worse on some ships than others.

One of the reasons we are going out of New Orleans on NCL Jewel and Dawn is Costa Maya. Another is NCL has the lido band which Carnival has quit and went to a DJ Flunky.

I have a busy family of 4 and dinner together is something that we look forward to on a cruise. I want to re-connect with my children and hubby. Getting to know strangers is not on my to-do list when I'm on vacation.
Well said. Who likes small talk? Small = Meaningless

We have been on CCL, NCL and RCL. We didn't like the Oasis because there was no places to enjoy without a mob. Moreover, the lowest open air deck was WAY too far off the water. Love the CCL Magic, Dream and the RCL Voyager class. Have fun!

Welcome back....they usually don't tell us when those are until after final payment and they have a headcount......The last several groups I had we did not have one, as we had other amenities, but it seems they were always toward the end of the cruise so I'm guessing maybe you would be safe planning anything in the first part???.... but as soon after final payment that I know I will let you know.:)
What were the other amenities? Thanks!

Exactly! Most of DW's friends drive Lexus, BMW and etc. We can afford such vehicles too. But DW picked a Honda. The difference was easily several cruises.
And the maintenance on a Honda is much cheaper than luxury vehicles. Brakes on my brother's BMW over $1000, tires over $300 (each), etc.. A "free" cruise every 40,000 miles. :)

We book B2B cruises often. Saves on transportation and hotel.
Stay at a hotel with free parking and park for two weeks is cheaper than parking by port for two separate weeks.
Duel income no kids
As many have posted, we do/fix everything ourselves
Never bought a Starbucks coffee and not missing it
We cook all our meals and we both pack our lunches.
Eat a lot of cheap foods like Lentils
Never pay full price for clothes or most things
Always know what we are going to buy and walk out when done (no strolling around stores)
Ride a cycle to work
Keep it hot in the house in summer and layers in winter
Use kitchen towels and not paper
Buy in bulk
Plan trips to stores instead of driving so much. Many days we stay home all weekend
Never carry a credit card balance
Cell phone is pay by minute and no land line
We have a toys like 4 wheelers, cycles, boat, etc. so we spend most of our time creating great memories instead of shopping, movies, dinners, etc. We live on 11+ acres so never feel trapped at home. (Probably an advantage over many)
Book in advance and watch for price drops. NEVER do excursions with the ship. Never bought insurance (30+ and counting knock on wood) we cruise (4) 7 nights every year. As you ALL know, it is soooo addicting. Headed out in 17 days. Oh yeah, always book offseason
I could go on and on how Frugile I am, but I don't need another intervention. :D

Wrecked my expectations too. I have been to Brazil and it ruined my expectations.
I agree with the live and let live attitude. Just took me by surprise.
No luck with platinum priority luggage!!

Not sure if it is fleet wide now, but if the ship doesn't have FTTF then platinum passengers do not get them any quicker.
