  1. Anyone have recent dealings with a no show passenger. Sailing in a few days and my friend cannot go. I will be sailing by myself. We got a very good fare so I will reimburse her. We both have insurance but it would not be covered. My concern/question is my fare. Could they reprice it when I arrive at the terminal. Any thoughts would be appreciated...a little stressed. TIA

  2. Wondering how strict Celebrity is with amount of passengers.  We have 5 booked in an FV cabin..  Recently, the 5th passenger informed us they can no longer go.  We don't sail til October and would hate to get bumped into a smaller balcony cabin.  Anyone have a similar experience?

  3. Thinking about booking on the Oosterdam...an aft cabin. There are cabins available on deck 8, 7, and one left on 6. I have viewed pictures of the aft but it is hard to tell how much coverage is over the balcony. Would like some coverage so not in the sun all the time. Looking for recommendations for which deck to book....thank you.

  4. Happy to hear you cruise was enjoyable....we set sail on the 25th, this being our first Celebrity cruise. It has been mentioned on the boards lately that water bottles have returned to Aqua cabins. Could you give us your experience with this. Thank you

  5. Would like to use luggage valet from the Equinox. We fly out of Miami and have 11:30 am flight. My concern is that we do not have seat assignments with United. Booked the basic fare when it was new not realizing details! I have read the program will deliver your boarding pass and luggage receipt the night before. Has anyone used the program without having assigned seats?

  6. We are booked on the Equinox for this Sept (our 1st with Celebrity) with the no perk/resident fare but got an exceptional price for an Aqua cabin. Do we still have the option to purchase/add the go big or go best package before final payment?

  7. Just wondering if anyone has stayed in cabin 9471 (or 9464)...aft corner cabin, category 9C. It appears the room will be small but a large balcony. Also for anyone who has sailed on the Vista, what type of chairs are on the balconies? We spend so much time on our balcony that we are hoping for some high back comfortable chairs that might recline! Thanks

  8. Well I'll be darned, you were on the sailing right before us I believe. They definitely told us they did not have ice cream in YC, but offered to make a mudslide with cream instead. Maybe they were just out the day we asked? We only asked once. Hopefully it was just a miscommunication for all the YC sailors in the future :).

Hi BermudaBound....really enjoyed your review. Yes, we were on the week before you and had a great time. Our butler was Carlos and he was spot on. As far as the geleto goes, I had read on cc that it was available so we asked otherwise we would not have known about it. I notice you are from Michigan. My DH is from the thumb area, not to far from Port Austin. After college he relocated to NJ and the rest is history! We go back every summer for a few weeks. Happy cruising and hope to read some more future cruise reviews!

  9. MSC is status matching any loyalty program. I am BLACK now on MSC because I am PLAT on NCL.

This "NCL Loyalist" is not buying a future cruise certificate in Feb 2017. And I usually do.

    I too am shopping around.

We were also status matched to Black on MSC since we are Platium with NCL. We just returned from a week in the Yacht Club on the MSC Divina....absolutely an amazing experience and the ship is beautiful. We have sailed in suites on NCL and enjoyed it but booked a B2B in the YC on the Divina for 2017 feeling it's a better value for now.

  10. We just returned this past Saturday and stayed in the YC. There were a few families with children in the YC but most well behaved. We did the western itinerary and had four ports and stayed on the ship. This was the time we truly enjoyed the YC. Mostly everyone went off and we had the place to ourselves(especially the pool)...it was heaven!! The level of service was outstanding...we would book the YC again in a heart beat.

  11. There are mini-van and SUV style cabs that can hold 5 (5+bags will be tight if any of you pack like my wife! :o). These cabs offer the same fare as a standard cab. You might need to wait a couple of minutes for one to come to the front of the cab line.

The flat rate fare is only between POM and the MIA airport - anywhere else and you are on the meter.

    Good luck! :)

What is the flat rate between MIA and POM for two people?..thanks

  12. Yes, your luggage will be tagged for YC at the tent and delivered to your cabin. You will then be escorted through the terminal to the special YC check in area. Snacks and beverages will be there for your enjoyment and as soon as the ship is ready for boarding you will be escorted to the gangway. Enjoy!!!!!

Thanks for the info...really looking forward to our stay in the YC.
