My husband and I took a Mediterranean cruise with Norwegian in Dec 2009. We hired (splurged) to have a RomeinLimo tour in Rome, Italy. When our ship arrived a little late and we rushed off the ship, we were greeted by Franchesco! From that moment we knew we made the best decision of the whole trip! Franchesco was fabulous! He gave us facts, as much as we wanted, as he took us from place to place. He took us to a fabulous lunch, where we ate some of the best Ravioli ever!
This experience was so fabulous that we are going back in August and this time we have stops in Naples, Rome, and Florence and have booked RomeinLimo for all three stops! Honestly, I can not think of using another company in Italy.
As for the tips, we did pay for all of the entrance fees, we paid at lunch (worth every penny!), and then tipped Franchesco at the end of the tour. We gave approximately 18-20% and honestly it was because of the great experience and service. We could not have asked for better!
