Does a Signature Suite also include CO?

Hi,

We are looking at booking a Lido Cabana on the Nieuw Amsterdam as we really enjoyed this on the Eurodam. My question is if anyone knows which cabanas do not have the music. Ours had music and it was so loud - we were told because it was for the whole pool area. We noticed some of the cabanas did not have the music. Any information is greatly appreciated!

We have been to La Villa Mahana and still think about how lovely it was, Not inexpensive but worth it.

We stayed at the Hilton Marina Fort Lauderdale and thought it was lovely. Picked a room facing the port but also the other side has a lovely view as well. We used Uber to the port and that worked out well.

We also thought maybe embarkation and debarkation priority may be helpful. Cost is a little prohibitive without upgrade perk available. Good information, thank you!

Other than possible upgrades, are the other benefits worthwhile for the cost? Our cruise is all but sold out so an upgrade is unlikely......

How did you determine which cabana was an ideal location? Even though I know the locations of the cabanas, I'm not sure how to figure that out. Also, is there a balcony or is it closed in in the cabana area? Wondering about a breeze......

Are the cabanas reserved once on board or can that be done prior?

Are there cabanas for rent poolside on the Eurodam? Or only on the upper deck? Are these reserved once on board?

Also is the Orange party a casual affair/party? Thought I saw something somewhere that made reference to it and not sure what it is.

We will be on the Eurodam in February and we've been looking into available packages and see there is one for the Thermal suite for the duration of the cruise.

Does anyone have any reviews? We are wondering if the cost is worth it? Looks nice.

I see the Shadow was recently done but am unable to find any information on the Whisper.

We are also booked on a November sailing and find getting to Barbados to be a challenge even from Charlotte. Have not decided whether to go with Silversea air yet as we will not be in control of the flight timing. Worried they may include 2 stops as opposed to 1 stop. Deviation is $150 pp. We were told that SS will look at flights 200 days out. Still deciding..........

We are sailing on the Nieuw Statendam on March 31st and can't seem to find out what nights are the Gala nights.

Travel agent hasn't been able to find out as well. Any ideas on where this information may be?

We have been to St Maarten many times. Temptation is a very nice restaurant near Maho. Family owned and operated and is where we always have our anniversary dinner. You will not be disappointed! Grand Case has several nice restaurants as well.

So nice to read of your adventures. One day we will make it to Alaska, the cooler climate has never appealed to us, but we have yet to hear one person say anything but wonderful things about Alaska.

You are so lucky to have Philip on board, not only is he a great personnel shopper, he is also fun to dance with!
