  1. Talked to couple in our hotel who had done cruise/stay. They told us how much standards had slipped on  Marella, relaxed dress code in MDR not good, food just awful, meat so tough they had to ask for sharper knife, which still did not do the trick, their advice was leave Marella alone and they were seasoned cruisers, perhaps someone can comment on this

  2. It will be a pity if dress code ' falls ' any further. Perhaps have dress code rules for MDR and any form of dress in buffet, as with other cruise lines. Having said that things will certainly have to get back to how they were, pre Covid, before we ever cruise again. Cannot be fussed testing each day etc

  3. Heads should roll, total lack of forward planning.   Every other industry have made plans for when things are relaxed. The Local Authorities who are  major shareholders in the Airport should be asking for a maagement shake up at the very least, Pointless in the Airport saying sorry, just not good enough.

  4. Not been on the site for some time, no plans to cruise in the near future.  But  reading recent posts it does surprise me that elderly people have chosen to cruise in these very trying times. You would certainly not get us anywhere near a cruise ship with close contact and with large numbers of people.   We do miss cruising but are just being sensible and looking forward to an end to Covid and restrictions.

    Happy New Year to all

  5. Thanks BJ - just looked it up - too many restrictions for our liking at the present time - wearing a mask on ship, no way I'm afraid rather stop at home. If they are going to space sunbeds will there be enough to go round. Hopefully by 2022 there will be no restrictions.

    Thanks again BJ

  6. Despite having had vaccine not sure we want to cruise this year - there are bound to be restriction in place on board ship for some time to come, nobody is likely to tell us what they may be. Better to wait, we are booked on Explorer2 for June 2022 - at least something to look forward to.
