Now it says Expired I cruise tomorrow No charge on card either
Did you get the bid?

If your like me and are 99.99999999999% sure you will test negative this is an easy option to be tested for your cruise. Costs about 70 bucks but you may fly into Miami and walk right past it. The best directions on how to find it is next to Airport door 20. So if you are coming into the airport or out of the airport all the doors are numbered. It’s at door 20. Easy door 20. I don’t know Miami airport just find door 20. Takes about 3 minutes if you have a reservation. And 6 minutes if you don’t. Good luck

FWIW, I did receive emails from X for both legs, and the person we have discussed in email sent me also sent me the same links that day. Evidently she was aware of my eligibility to bid and wanted to be sure I had received notice. Great service.
Still no word on my lowball bid from RS to PH, but I suspect both the PH are occupied for both B2B legs. From the time we started looking at this cruise, it hasn't appeared as available on the web site. I suspect that some MoveUp bids are solicited to back fill in the event of cancellations and no shows. I know who is in one of them for the 2nd leg.
Same for our cruise.

From my unscientific anecdotal evidence, the bidder in the inside cabin would have a better chance winning a Move Up bid on an Aqua Class Stateroom, and someone in a Sky Suite would be more likely to win the Penthouse (or a Celebrity or Royal Suite).
Unless the bid is crazy high, or the ship is really empty, I think there is a cut-off at the Aqua Class level, and then the next tier is within the suite level. As I said, this is my unscientific, anecdotal opinion. ; )
That is a good question

We are going to test at the Miami airport. November 16

Looking back at the rules in place it says Pfizer 21 days apart which is what I had. 28 days for Moderna which my wife got.
I agree we should be good !

Just received an email from X pertaining to a health and safety checklist. Here is the part that is bothering me:
Vaccination Policy: Acceptable proof of vaccination must be in the form of the original vaccination record document issued by the country’s health authority or healthcare provider that administered the vaccination. All guests 12 and older should bring proof of vaccination with the last dose given at least 14 days before the sailing. The CDC will also consider a guest fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination that can include a mixed series of any two of the following vaccines, with a minimum of 28 days between doses: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, or Sinopharm.
When we were vaccinated it was 21 days apart so we are not complying to the 28 day guideline. We also have our booster.
Who has sailed and have you heard of any problems with X checking this?
Thanks

Is it a card? Can you play anything?

How does this credit work. Different than an onboard credit?

They're asking $25 a glass for the Opulence cab, which means $12 a glass including the 20% tip.
As for your curry, not offered by the glass, but just for grins, try pairing it with a reasonably priced bottle of Gewurztraminer. Celebrity shows that they have one from Navarro for $54 (less your 20% PBP discount).
I second this!

I think it's clear in context that @steveweese was inventing a word to match "hosted" aimed at an objective case, not the past participle of the verb buttle. In my book, he's entirely off the hook from the grammar police.
Yes it was a word that I invented but be assured it will be added to Webster’s files shortly. LOL

Retreat Host vs Butler? Until just now I have not thought much about the name change.
I just realized it might be a marketing and image excellent move by Celebrity. When I hear the word butler, I think about the 1966 show "Family Affair" with the butler Mr. French. Am I showing my age?
When I look up the definition of butler I found this: the main male servant in the home of a wealthy person. Several online definitions include the word "servant".
In the year 2021 the concept of having a servant is something I would not want to be part of. Now, having a "host" is a term I find less offensive and not demeaning to the person providing the services a cruise ship suite attendant provides.
Something to think about?
Your thoughts….
Cheers!

I agree that it is a good idea. I would rather be hosted than butlered.

I guess 15 years would be timely.
