Do you not pay for that day in your drink package? Don't the profits from the bar go to Holland America?

Is it true that if you purchased a drink package, you cannot use it on their private island?

I have 4 next cruise certificates that expire Dec. 21. I would have thought they would have extended the date since their has been no sailing this year. Any suggestions? I have no intent on sailing in 2021.

While I agree the photographs are overpriced, So are all the other gift options.

I was just looking for a gift option that was affordable.

But it appears that $10 will not even cover a small print.

One of the options for gifts is a $10 photo gift card.

Will this cover he price of a photo?

We're just getting unpacked from our five night BOS to Key west and Cozumel.

 

When we left North Carolina the temp. was in the twenty's and at the end of our 10 hour drive sunny Florida was near 80 degrees !

We arrived at the port and was on the ship in less than a half HR.

Windjammer was a madhouse so we tried out our drink package ( worked really well ) bartenders seamed fine with the drink packed with or without a tip, most of the time we would tip extra. Sometimes we would have to sign

a slip and most of the time no slip. We both got the premium drink package

and will get it again.

Rooms were ready about 1:30 we had cabin 8168 corner AFT . Very nice cabin we didn't mind the walk. I'm going to try and post some

We only ate at windjammer, park cafe and had room service twice.

Were not foodies, or like going to a 3 hour dinner. I would have to give the food an overall B+

 

The crew seemed to be in good spirits, and like any business, some better than others. Our room attendant was ARTHUR , He was very nice and took great care of us. crew overall an A

 

We went to the casino every night it was fun but without a doubt the tightest

casino we've ever been in.

This was our first time to Key west, what a great place to visit ! We ate at

Sloppy Joe's and walked from store to store. we have been to Cozumel before

so we knew what to expect there . We walked around the port area and

walked some outside the port area.

 

We didn't go to any of the shows but the live music and ship atmosphere was

always very good! always some kind of event going on.

 

We carried our luggage off the ship at 7:10 and were thru customs by 7:30 and after a $20 cab ride we were back at our car by 8:15.

Overall we had a great time and would go again ! but next for us is Oasis and

some new ports.

Was formal night day 2 in key west or day 3 at sea? I am going on a similar itinerary soon.

I know you are allowed to bring 1 bottle on wine on board. Will they allow you to drink it in the dining room or will they charge a corkage fee?

I called (price was the same as when I booked) and would have been able to get the additional $200 OBC, but would have had to give up my $200 balcony discount, which would have made the cruise a wash at best - so I passed on the opportunity. I just couldn't see trading them $200 in cash for $200 in credit.:(

What bothers me is what about Loyal to Royal? I finally reach Diamond plus and I have to choose between OBC or Balcony Discount for Past Cruisers. Same price if it is your first or 25th cruise.

Cruiseline would not give permission. I am sure it has nothing to do with the ports. They don't seem to be customer friendly at all!
