cruisin crazy in Michigan

I'm interested in getting to see Times Square and 911 memorial post cruise in June. I'll need to drop off my luggage at the Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, NJ after the cruise. Not planning to use my car to drive into the city. Any suggestions?

Thinking now of getting a hotel the night before the cruise. Can anyone suggest a hotel where we can park our car and get transportation. Thanks Judy

We're staying at the Embassy Suites in Elizabeth, NJ for $249/night. It's their Park, Ride and Go package with includes parking and voucher for round trip ride to port.

We went on Woodwind in Bonnaire. It was the best snorkel excursion of all our cruises. We booked it on our own and not thru the cruiseline. They are well known by cruisers and very reasonable prices.

DId you have a virtual balcony? If so, what did you think of it? Was it easy to get around such a big ship and did it seem crowded?

We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris a couple of years ago on a re-positioning cruise and it's beautiful!!!! Have a wonderful trip and I'm looking forward to following your semi-live report!

We found a watch a few years ago in our stateroom when we unpacked. It was on a shelf above the vanity. And yes, I kept it and I still wear it almost every day.

We sailed the Maasdam on March 28th, the last cruise before dry-dock. We were in cabin 365 and didn't hear any noises from above.

Winning bid of $46 - in October. It's a beautiful hotel and in good area.

Maybe I jumped on this too fast since they don't have free shuttle from airport and from port. It will probably cost me an additional $40 for taxi service
