  1. According to the Celebrity web site "The Suite Class experience will also include a daily high-end afternoon tea service served in the guest's spacious and beautifully-designed suite." Does anybody have any experience with the tea service? I haven't seen anything posted about it.

The Butler would arrive at the door with a tray of cakes etc so you can choose what you like. Even when we were out for the day the butler would leave us a tray of my favourite picks and I always felt bad when I didnt eat them. We had Cappuccinos to same as we had delivered each morning at 7am.:):)

  2. Having done the train to Rome a few times, I have to ask what is a "private train"?

I can't imagine! I can see a private car or bus, but a train?

    How does that work?

It is a train that you book in the excursions on the ship"Rome On Your Own" the same as using a coach shuttle. It drops you at St Peters and you meet back at the station at a certain time to go back to the ship. We have used it on 2 other Europe cruises. The price is more expensive than the normal train of course. Mainly used it as port is far from city and our friends were worried about getting back on time.

  3. We were on a private tour in Istanbul. Had just left the ship area when trouble started there was tear gas being let off and crowds surrounding our van our driver acted quickly and turned off air con etc. There we shop windows being smashed. That was scary enough and they were protesting over a park being built on. I would rather miss a port and be safe. :)

  4. God I hope it don't be like that for us, I'll be a bit green I'd say, I'd be more than green, lol I was never on a ship before this will be my first,

Thanks for all the updates your great for keeping us posted,

Don't worry We had a big storm last year around this time didn't feel a thing and we were on smaller ship.

  5. All my cruises have been on Celebrity and loved the food and the service. I have also stayed in a suite and the perks are so much better butler, free specialty restaurants etc. Will be going on our first Royal Caribbean Cruise on Allure in May in a Crown Loft Suite which cost more than Celebrity so it will be interesting to see the difference but I am sure we will enjoy ourselves whatever the differences:)

  6. Can anyone tell me how the Casino on Celebrity Reflection compares to the casino on RCL's Liberty (or any Freedom Class ship)?

Have cruised lots on RCL but only once on Celebrity (Constellation). The casino was very small and cramped. So many players around the Black Jack tables they pushed right into the slot players nearby.

We would like to do a Christmas cruise and the Reflection is a very good price right now (for a Christmas cruise) however 7 days on a ship with a cramped casino -- not good.

    Thanks for helping

    Kathy

My husband plays poker and he thought Casino was not cramped. Reflection is a great ship and a lot bigger and newer than Constellation:)
