  1. I wonder if someone can help.

A holder of at least 100 Carnival Corp plc is entitled to shareholder benefits

For Costa these are 75€ per cabin forA 7 DAY-13 day cruise

    However it says

" This benefit is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and, cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account. Only one onboard credit per shareholder-occupied stateroom"

Any ideas what it can be used for ?

  2. We are considering a cruise on the Arcadia. I see that there is fixed time dining on varying size tables with the same people each night or free time dining. I assume you have to commit to one at the time of booking .....if so and you wish a change on board can you say do a few nights free time dining in place of the fixed time fixed table ?.....I ask because we are considering the World Cruise for Jan 2018 and would need variety on a 99 night cruise

  3. Considering World Cruise on Elizabeth for Jan 2018. Has anyone any experience of the Balcony CB cabins with obstructed view ( Decks 4 and 5). How badly is the view obstructed? Can you see anything besides the lifeboat ? Does it make sitting on the balcony and unpleasant experience as you feel hedged in? Is Deck 4 better than 5 or vice versa? Any thoughts help advice would really be appreciated. Thank you

  4. This will be our first PO cruise....looking at World Cruise for Jan 2018.

Would one of you experienced PO'ers please clarify the drinks policy for me.

Am I right in understanding that we can take on board on departure, and bring back with us from shore visits both a reasonable amount of alcoholic and soft drinks to be drunk only in our cabin and that there in no charge made by the ship for this. Do they define what they consider reasonable.

Obviously drinks in the bar and restaurants would be charged to our on board account in the usual way. Do these drinks attract a service charge or is the £5.50 pppd the only tips to be paid plus any further you wish to make directly to crew.
