  1. That sounds too much like thin soup, but, I've never tried it ! Tom
  2. I tried digging around, but could not find anything. Though there was a recommendation for the following app: CruiseSchedule Port Everglades -- though that's not for Android users (me!), so I can't utilize it ! Any i-people out there want to load that up and take a look (11/20 Reflection)? Tom
  3. Darn is right ! I guess that the regular rate they offer is for a 7 night cruise. I was pleased to see that it was 10% off the regular 7-nt rate for our 8 night sailing -- so it's like 10% off AND a "free" day. 🙂 Tom
  4. For ours, it showed up as a mid page banner on our Cruise Manager page upon logging in. Though, it indicates there: Limited Time 50th Birthday Pricing for Cabanas on Loft 19 As a Carnival Excel Suite guest, you can book your private Cabana on Loft 19 for the entire voyage at a special price! Hurry, only a few are available! So, not sure how to find them in a traditional sense.
  5. Anyone know when it will be known (or how to find out) what terminal the Reflection will be using in Pt Everglades this coming season - since we're about 3 weeks out now. In February I can't recall the terminal number, but it was one where there was no parking, and you had to take a shuttle to/from a parking garage near other terminals. It was a Saturday-Saturday schedule then, now it's Sunday-Sunday. I REALLY hope that they'll be at a different terminal this time so that we can skip the "fun" shuttle process ! Tom
  6. I just received word, as to the process: When you arrive to loft19, they will provide wristbands for the day. Each day you can bring different people.
  7. Probably the biggest PLUS of this whole process, our cabin should be ready for us when we re-board !! 😄 Tom
  8. I have a deposit on the 3/11 and 3/18 Mardi Gras, and didn't see any availability of cabanas on either of those sailings. We're likely (99%) not going to sail those dates anyway, I had grabbed them several months ago when I was looking for what dates had Presidential suites available. Those were about it! I was rather surprised that, on the Celebration, all 12 cabanas were available to book. Something seems odd here... to have all 12 already gone for two MG sailings in March, but all of them available on the CB in May! The "better" sailing will be on the Celebration anyway (8-nt, ABC's - office cruise), and I'm checking every day to see if one of the Presidential suites open up... if only because I'll be taking advantage of our 75th Milestone benefit on that cruise, and will be getting 75% of the cruise fare BACK as OBC --- so, GO FOR THE GUSTO !!! Regarding openings here... just brought on a new person this morning, so - DARN IT, nothing here at the moment, LOL. 😄 Tom
  9. I checked in for our 11/20 Reflection sailing last week, and then received the docs via email. Now, I received an email to check-in for our second leg (11/27). However, I also received the docs for that sailing. I don't think I received the docs last time until after I checked-in, but I could be totally wrong on that count. Do I need to go through the process again for this (second) sailing? ... and, can anyone tell me what the typical process is between cruises, as far as what time we'll need to be where, etc? THANKS, Tom
  10. No, that is not. Ok... FORGET my surprise regarding the gratuity, can anyone answer my question? ! Tom
  11. Nope! It didn't cross my mind, but it caught my attention when I saw that number!
  12. So, for one of those cabanas you're allowed a total of 5 people. How is that managed? Are wristbands given, which can be utilized by different people on different days - or do you have to submit a list of all 5 people, and they're cleared for the week? Just wondering how flexible they are. I went ahead and grabbed one (10% off presently), and then saw they tacked on $4xx.00 dollars for gratuity. WOWZA ! THANKS Tom
  13. I had asked the (shoreside) concierge about getting them mailed for our upcoming Reflection sailing and was told they no longer do that. For our Independence sailing (GS) a few months ago, they did indeed mail the tags to me. Tom
  14. I've never been a fan of the eastern MG itineraries. So, this shuffle "don't befront me"... 😄 Tom
  15. Perhaps they should add that as a Zenith perk... lol Tom
  16. If it's come up before, I missed it. Perhaps it's still unknown? (that would not surprise me!) Tom
  17. My youngest as well ... I think that Celebrity is trying to groom them to be gamblers. You're already a known/reliable entity. They need new blood !! Tom
  18. When ordering additional charge items from the menu (prime dry-aged steak at Tuscan Grill or the seafood tower at The Porch) it's a crapshoot. At Tuscan, I was charged (and, frankly, the NY Strip was tough as nails!), at The Porch, we were not charged. Tom
  19. We're on the Reflection next month for a B2B (7+7). Testing wise - what is required of me ahead of time, and does anything occur between sailings? Tom
  20. I have (this) Thanksgiving week and the following week booked. I decided to see what next Thanksgiving would run in the same (RS) category.. W O W... I don't know what's been going on with the Edge class rates, but to me it seems that they're pricing the Reflection (for next fall) as if it was a flagship ! Tom
  21. If I had but one request of a change THAT would be it ! Cellar Masters, to me, is a quiet, empty, underutilized space! I'd love a pub burger or wings late some evening 🙂 Tom
