I thought it was okay shampoo and I have color treated hair and it didn't strip color. It's fine for a week. The hair stylist comments are the ones I'd trust most.

We've cruised the Legend 4 times, the last time was in May-great ship and crew.

Watch your time out in the sun, you may rash or burn easily. Hats are a must and there are many things to do out of the sun. See your rheumatologist and get his/her opinions. I wish you all the best. One of my kids was diagnosed with this as a teen and is in her 30's and doing great. She's a very sucessful trial attorney and wife and mother of 4. We also got a very gloomy prognosis when she was diagnosed. It is a serious disease but can be controlled and you can live a full life with it.

4 times Legend-love the itinerary and Spirit class ships
3 times Elation-closest port
2 times Fascination- love the ship and a 5 day cruise
2 times Holiday- we also loved this ship
2 times Celebration-were not a lot of ships to choose from

I bring one of my own towels for off the boat use. A friend got charged for a CCL towel that was misplaced or taken by another cruiser on a tour.

Bring dollar bills and $5's for tips for room service and for the tours if you plan to take any. I also like to have exact cash for a cab.

Yes! Yes! and another Yes! He scares the living daylights out of my 4 yr. old. and she's almost platinum so she's cruised with us alot in 4 yrs. When she was 2 the person in the freddy suit came up from behind and tried to be cute, she was frantic and since them Freddy is not her fave for sure.

We love the mongolian wok if it is available.

My 4 yr old gets a CCL stuffed animal each cruise and she carries it around so it's in photos. But it is a 4 yr old's toy. I would not bring along a stuffed animal for myself but some adults still collect them.

We cruised on her. She seemed so grand at the time to us.

I'm sorry the op had an unpleasant experience. We bought the canvas enlargement photos on a cruise in March and one came with a flaw in the background. I called CCL and they reprinted it and sent it to me. They were great and I really appreciated the excellent, quick customer service. The quality of the photos I've bought has been great and prices are similar to a private photograper in my area of the country. We had a photo shoot done of our kids at the grand floridian at disney last yr and their prices were similar to CCL. It is expensive and is one's choice to buy or not buy.

Great idea kbmeow. I'll try it next time I clean my coffee maker.

We have many Mexican markets in my city and I've been buying it here so I don't have to lug it home. Del Sols vanilla is very good. I bought it in Cozumel a few yrs. ago and got hooked. I like mexican vanilla in coffee with alittle splenda. If you have a mexican grocery check the brands and prices before you leave home.

I'm platinum and just find CCL's Camp Carnival to be the best in the industry so we'll keep cruising CCL.

I like CCL for exactly what it is, a bargain cruise experience. I'm alittle bored with the menu and would like to see some different recipes for the fish and chicken that they serve. My favorite cruise line is Cunard, 2nd is Holland. The food and service was exceptional on those lines but the cruise cost for those lines is more than double what I pay on CCL so I cruise CCL often. I'm getting the cruise vacation product that I pay for on CCL. You get a lower quality experience on CCL but it is still a wonderful overall vacation experience. The cruiser on CCL is often a typical middle class individual and that's just fine with me. I don't cruise to make friends, I don't care what others wear or eat. I don't care if other cruisers eat or drink too much, wear inappropriate clothing, etc. I cruise to have a great, relaxing experience with my husband and family, period.

The menu. I'd love to see some menu rotation every 6 mo. or so for those of us who cruise more often.

On the Fasination alot of the younger kids were asleep by midnight, including my child, at the late night sitting party. It's really late for small kids. We won't do use it again, although we really love Camp Carnival.

We sailed her and she was a great ship.

On a Jan. cruise the waiter we had was a woman from Russia who shared with us about her child who was being raised by a relative at home. She said she made a high salary for her country and could have her own house and give her child the best of everything on a CCL salary. She said she loved her job and could never make this much $ in her country.

Several yrs ago on a CCL cruise there were elderly twins. They were husky women with big bleached blond hair and way too much make-up for the 60-70 yr. old set. They wore idenical super age non appropriate outfits (short skirts and low cut skimpy tops) at least one size too small. The swimsuits were also idenical and alot hung out.

Cutting in line is rude period.

We really like anytime dining. You can dine as a couple or at a table to meet other cruisers. It's all up to you and there's the flexible time part of it that's really nice. We'll never do regular dining again.

I won it on my last cruise. Frozen rum drinks seem the best choice- like the drinks of the day. I was also a runner up on another ship. I won a ship funnel hat, a free drink coupon, the drink I made and a CCl drink recipe pamplet. On another ship they included a ship on a stick for the 1st prize.

We really liked that ship and it seemed so big to us then.
Cruzan, Appleton or Bacardi?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Cruzan works for rum and cokes. If you like rum on ice with lime or with fruit juice I'd go for the appleton white.
