  1. Disembarked this morning from the Magic at Port Canaveral and are missing a bag. Completely apathetic staff to our plight. Anyone have experience with this and have tips on how to navigate the process? The one t shirt we purchased for our son is gone from the most perfect day in St Maarten on a catamaran. Carnival is losing 3 cruisers today. The lack of care or effort illustrates why we won't be on their ships any longer. 

  2. What drinks are included at sea day brunch? Deciding on the bubbles package. Not a fan of going to the bar for sodas but the struggle is real lugging more stuff on board. We are a Coke family so the struggle is even more. Haven't cruised in awhile sadly.

  3. Looking for any recs for fishing in Icy Straight Point. Husband, 15 year old son and myself cruising for the first time since the Rona has arrived. Celebrating my husband's retirement. Through Carnival there is only 1 spot left. Have plans to kayak in Ketchikan/rent a car to see totems, whale watching with a stop at the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and hoping for fishing in Icy Straight Point.

  4. I did mean final payment. Guess I am used to texting with these youngins!

     

    It would the 4th. We have been blessed with children who choose not to miss school.:confused:

     

    We are taking our nine year old but the 10th grader is undecided. The senior has a trip planned of his own and my college kid can't miss. We were closed out once from adding someone by the Coast Guard and don't want that to happen again.

     

    So it appears we would get the port fees back and not pay the gratuities? Are the port fees the add on after the fare is quoted?

  5. If we book our son into the room with us and he ends up not being able to go, do we pay gratuities for a ghost? We would lose the 150 extra it cost to add him into the room but he isn't totally sure he can go.

     

    Jumping off and trying the Carnival Sunshine.

  6. Thanks - I did call Disney and received very much the same information. Our appointment is this afternoon. We are booked on this cruise with friends who are next door. All cabins are available and I wish I would have asked if they go to anyone on GTY status. I will probably call them back to verify. I hope he is out of the cast as he is a very active 8 year old!

    Son broke his leg 2 days ago and we may need an HA room for your upcoming cruises. What paperwork is required? I am going to the ortho and would like to be able to request it today. My concern is if we change rooms and we don't need it anymore there will be an issue.

     

    I am also calling Disney but the moral dilemma is killing me! He may be out of the cast by then.

    We are considering the Blue Lagoon excursion in late March and noticed there are 2 different types. One includes lunch and one doesn't. Has anyone been on this excursion? Any details you can share?

  9. I am so bummed too. Star cruise Thanksgiving 2016 cancelled which was supposed to be our wedding @ Honduras and a Suite with all the extras UBP, Gratuities, Ultimate Dining, OBC etc. for our family of 8. One Suite and one interior. Now to see what the "exciting and exotic new itineraries" are going to be.

    The rescheduling options are not even close to making it right. I am hoping the Jade cruises the same week :-(

     

    So sad for you! We love Roatan! NCL needs to make this right other than their crappy, not even relevant offer.
