I loved the ships designed by the Chandris Group.  Stylish and classy in a traditional sense.  The woodworking was so special.  My favorite was the Century.

I agree.  Our first Celebrity cruise was on the Centuy.  Beautiful, well designed ship.

  2. We are going on the Equinox soon, and I am hoping that someone currently on that ship can confirm that Moscato is still available by the glass.  It’s the only wine I ever drink.  Thanks!

We were on the same cruise. Nothing was outstanding for us in any areas except for friendly crew and our room steward Peter - exceptional.

MDR food was uninspiring, food served was not hot. Had to return few times. No more Moscato by the glass in Classic package.

Moscato is my favorite wine!  How much is a glass in the Premium pkg?  We have the Classic pkg., so I guess I will have to pay the difference plus tip!!!

  4. We just booked our cruise on the Equinox yesterday afternoon, and when I pulled it up this morning, Celebrity had added $2,000 to the total due!!!  After racking my brain trying to figure this out, I called Celebrity, and they explained that it would take a few days to get the final invoice done, and it would be at the price quoted yesterday.  Never had that ever happen.

I already looked into it. Web site says no applicable sailings. The Equinox schedule is only released through April 15, 2022. Four weeks prior to May 14 is April 16, 2022. Miss it by a day.

Unless they release more 2022 dates , it’s not an option. Next week I’ll call and maybe plead my case. But, I’m getting tired of al the changes —— already have 3 cruises in the first three months of 2022. I’m seriously considering just getting my money back and wait until the dust all settles.

We have decided to get our money back for the May 14 cruise, which right now is only the deposit.  The dust is going to settle a whole lot before we book something.

A question for anyone that has taken a Covid test.  Has anyone every received written confirmation of your results?  I only received a phone call.  I would think that all of the testing clinics are too busy to provide a written report so I could cruise within the next day or two after the results are back.

Yes, I received written confirmation of my negative test about 3 days after the test. Had it done at CVS.

Hi!  I am sure others are getting notifications as well but I just received a cancellation notice from my travel agent that Celebrity cancelled our 9-night on the Equinox on May 14th, 2021.  I know the CDC has the 7-night max on cruises until Nov '21 and Royal Caribbean announced a halt for selling but I had hope something would change and the cruise would still sail.

We were offered a 125% FCC, a 100% refund or Lift & Shift to May 2022 - the decision has to be made by Dec 8th, 2020 as stated in the e-mail.

This sailing was to replace a cancelled May 2020 sailing.

    Here we go again...

Just called Celebrity and will be getting a full refund for my deposit and will be getting a new Future Cruise Credit, as they had applied our previous FCC to this cruise.  Since nobody knows how long this pandemic will last, we decided to just wait it out and book something then.  Having to wear a mask anytime we’re out of the cabin and taking only X sponsored shore excursions wasn’t appealing to us.

  8. I, too, thoroughly enjoy planning for a cruise, from continually researching airfare, hotels,  ports, restaurants, it’s all enjoyable!  We have a May, 2021, cruise planned, which is very questionable right now; but if we’re unable to go, I’ll just start over again with the planning!
