We have sailed with Diego twice and he is one of the best concierges we have had the pleasure of meeting. We will hopefully be with him again in the spring from San Juan. The Jewel has a whole ship full of extremely nice and fun officers. :D:)

JW_Concierge@rccl.com should do it, with an underscore after JW. :)
Karen, thank you so much. Hope you and Pete are well.

I know this has been posted before, but I can't find it in earlier posts. I need to email Diego Tripaldi on the Jewel, how do I do that?
Thanks

Just got off 2 weeks on the Jewel, and we wanted to take Diego home and keep him. He is definitely in the top 5 concierges, maybe even higher. There was nothing he couldn't make wonderful. He remembered us from last year and he was only on board 1 week before he left for vacation then.

Thanks Karen, I don't recognize him, but the lady next to him is looking good!
Maybe when I see him it will dawn on me. :p We were on the Jewel last year for b2b 5 day cruises and he may have been there the first week, just don't remember clearly.

I was able to open that page, great information! His name (Diego) is so familiar, but can't place his face. That could be due to the small part of my brain that's still working! :p
Thanks to everyone for the information.

We will be on the Jewel for the first two weeks in October. I can't seem to find that post with the list of concierges that used to be here. Does anyone know who will be the concierge for that period?
I saw a site posted earlier, I think by Patti, but was unable to get it to open.
Patti, your grandchildren are beautiful!
Thanks.

We just were on Serenade for 2 weeks with Mario, which was also his last week before vacation and change to Quantum. He said he probably would not be going to Asia, needs some one with different language. So he was not sure where he would be next, truly hope it is where we can be with him again, one of the the very best concierge's ever. Miss his "good morning beautiful people.":)

Sally-
Yesterday he posted "24 days and counting." So it sounds like you will be with him right before his vacation.

We will be on the SOS next week for two weeks. Does anyone know who will in the CL then. Hopefully Mario will not leave until we do!
Also, we were on the Nav in Feb. and Nadja was very nice, as was Ricardo. They both made an effort to greet you you by name and were very helpful. Sometimes, the offended person is just naturally that way, so " bless their hearts." :p;)

Thanks for this great list.
Now, please understand that I live in the middle of the Rockie Mountains.
What the hell is the "port side" ? :D
It is easy to remember: left (4 letters) port (4 letters)
starboard (longer word) right (longer word)
aft (a--) back or rear of ship :p
Hope this helps! ;)

Does anyone know who will be in the Serenade CL beginning April 5? The list says Mario Reyes will be on vacation in April.
Thanks
Sally
I'm re-posting this in case anyone knows the answer. :)
Thanks,

Just got off of Navigator and we were told that the RCCL Liberty will replace the Nav. In 2015. Didn't say anything about 2 RCCL ships being there, but a lot of movement of ships going on.
Would really be nice to have 10 day cruises out of Galveston. Don't mind going to Cozumel over & over, and G Cayman is nice, but really don't care for Falmouth, Jamica. Really used to like Costa Maya, but Royal stopped going there and began developing Falmouth. Was told that was because of crime, but I believe Carnival Magic still goes there. Royal has added a Margarittaville (sp?) on Falmouth and it has a really nice pool area for passengers. LOUD, but it seemed the people were having a lot of fun there. :p:D

The Port of Galveston has signed a 5 year agreement with RCCL:D
$10 million for port improvements approved.
Today in Galveston County Daily News!
YEAH:)
That is great! At least we don't have to worry for 5 years.:p

We'll be on Nav. Feb 16, can't wait.

Navigator will go into dry dock in January and be new for Feb sailings. We will be on Feb. 16.:)

No, you cannot just paste a picture. The picture has to be hosted on some website and then you get the URL of the picture and insert it into the thread using the "Insert Image" button. I got the URL of Bill's photo by right clicking on it and selecting "Copy Image Location". This is using Firefox. Offhand, I don't know how to get the URL in other browsers.
Thank you so much. I'm going to tinker around with that tomorrow, maybe I can finally make it work with your information. ::)

I copied the link to the photo from Bill's "Live Legend" thread and used the button to insert the photo here.
I don't have the photo on a link, just a picture. I copy it, then go to that button, but it doesn't let me do anything that I know how to do (maybe that's the problem). . Can you not just paste a picture into these messages?

Luca is on the far right.
how did you do that?

Trying to figure out how to paste a picture here. I have a picture of Luca I wanted to show the lady asking about him. But it won't let me paste. Does anyone know how to do this?

We are booked on Navigator in Feb 2014 in one of the new deck 12 balcony cabins. Unfortunately it is a forward balcony whereas when we booked it was listed as an aft balcony.
Oh well, we have a cruise booked and will enjoy it.
Have you seen a layout of the additions? We will be on her in Feb. also.

Cindy, I feel your pain ;) We're on the Jewel in two weeks, and trying to do the check-in was a nightmare! They're only doing bag tags now for D+, pinnacle, and GS and higher. Our daughter is in a JS with her friend...bottom line is bag tags only printed through internet explorer! Of course if you want to view the shore excursions best, you need to use Firefox...and then the staff at RCCL recommends using Chrome  I think they need a new IT department!
We were just on the Jewel, in a JS, and D+, we had to print our own tags. They only send them for GS and above and Pinnacle. We printed them, then had them laminated, cut them out, folded them over and stapled around bag handles, worked very well.

Just to add to the problems, I have read on another thread that Galveston will lose RCCL in 2015. I truly hope this is just a rumor. We love the ease of driving to the port.
The terminal has never been a problem to us, after all we are just walking through to GO ON A CRUISE!!!!! The people have always been very pleasant and done whatever they could to make any inconvience as easy as possible.
Just saying.

I am looking forward to following your live tour. We board her on Apr 22 and Apr 27 B2B. First time on Jewel, the only Radiance class ship we have not been on.
Doing B2B's next fall out of San Juan. We met Carly, your CD, on the Mariner this January, she was good. I suppose she didn't want to go to the Orient with the Mariner.
Have a great cruise, we'll be watching.
