I want to know which is the best company to work with that is the easiest to get to and back from the dock. Would probably want to go on a Thursday and need to be on the ship by 2 pm.
Thank you in advance!

I need some help understanding the time difference between ship's time of in port from 9 to 6 in Halifax and the local time. If we arrive at 9 ship's time, is it 8 in Halifax?

Which hotel are you staying in on Sep 10 and what are you paying? I'm assuming you are flying in and out of Newark. What time do you arrive? Are you sightseeing in NYC?
Cabs/car service should be about $50-60 to the port. Shared shuttle back to EWR is $16/pp.
Dear 138East,
If our flight leaves EWR at 8 pm on a Thursday, what time do we need to board the shuttle at PABT?
Thanks!

Anyone know where to get our passport stamped while in port? We have found out on each of the ports of our itinerary except in the DR.
Thanks in advance!

How are they different from any you can easily buy at home?

I am looking for either some metal art or colorful ceramic numbers. Something definitely different than what I can get at home.

We are on the Carnival Freedom in November and going to Grand Turk, Dominican Republic, Aruba, and Curacao. Do any of these have metal or ceramic house numbers I can bring back as a souvenier?
Thanks in advance,

Mike and Tracy,
Seems like you're over due for another cruise :p
Has Tracy finished her Mountie training?

Cenotes Near Progresso
in Progreso/Merida (Mexico)

We were there last week and had a fantastic tour that included swimmng in a cenote. In fact the company is called YucatanCenote.com The Wacko Taco tour involves an hour drive in a nice Mercedes van for up to 18 people (we had 13) with an informative narration by the wonderul guide, Russell, to the Mayapan ruins. After a short guided tour, you are free to explore. You are able to climb up the pyramid which I highly recommend. Next was a quick trip to the cenote. You could cliff dive, or dive off a 52 or 40 foot platform, swing on a rope, or just walk down stairs into the water. To top this off, a wonderful Grandmother cooked a feast for us. We had chips, guacamole, lime soup, tacos and flan for dessert. The tour provided cold water or sodas throughout. I think this was an awesome tour and the price was fantastic (only $88 per person).
